I will be honest.... i was preparing the mafia thread and just don't care about england.

I am kind of sad that LFC are making england look good and winning games for this lot as its so poor it really needs a non qualification to wake up and sort the coaching and root and branch FA changes

I did half expect that even soutgate to take on strachen and win.

I do like the fact that clyne is resting on the bench while walker who was injured last weekend is playing... keep that up i say.

It was a classic Sterling miss. Back post low cross (about ankle height) and he got right under it and skied it, too busy worrying he might clash with the post.

Wasn't a particularly physical game, not end to end and very little hard tackling. Wont have take much out of the players.

 

But now Rooney will rest himself for the friendly and Liverpool players will have to play the full 95 minutes
