Hang on a minute, didn't Trump say he wanted nothing to do with the U.K. after brexit was done and dusted? Now that's what I respect in a politician, the ability to conveniently forget all the promises made during the campaign.

Which in a way is surely what the EU have been doing, at the dismay of Nigel Farage? UK Government cannot/could not look towards protectionism while being a EU member. Mr Farage but also left wingers favour Britain being able to create its own trade policies free from EU regulation. It is a position of neither left or right.
And I'm unsure if you are a supporter ... The most right wing party I have ever voted for is Tony Blair's New Labour. Mr Trumps views on the environment would mean no support from myself, but political norms in one country do not apply to all. The Americans have made their vote. Trump clearly won. Status quos are being broken. Brexit, Trump ..This could be a era of new politics globally.
Understand and learn has to better than maligning millions upon millions because they hold differing views.
'the average person not having a very good idea about what they're voting for/against. I'm by no means an expert'
So are you average ?
No....
I'm fully aware that I could be coming across as arrogant as fack but it's not in any way to big up my knowledge or anything like that. I'm speaking largely from experience and a lot of my friends who have no interest in politics, know nothing about it, and yet still vote, and I genuinely think it's the majority of nation that do it this way. Does anyone here actually disagree? Most people don't give a damn but will vote for whoever their family are / whoever the tabloids tell them to.
EDIT: This demonstrates my point somewhat: https://www.indy100.com/article/30-...bah-the-fictional-city-in-aladdin--byqyS8_bix
A few things we did not know about the most powerful man on the planet![]()

sorry bcfc rob your comment is not in order .. there are thousands of billionaires and very few get mixed up with one let alone a dozen acts of kindnessRR the guy is a billionaire ffs these are not even comparable to all of the **** things he's done doh![]()
but Trump's positives there do not make up for all of the vile BS he has spouted. At all.
'I'm fully aware that I could be coming across as arrogant as fack'
Nothing, absolutely nothing compared with the likes of Nick Clegg.
He's another who thinks I'm an idiot for voting to leave.
He, nor any other luvvie know anything about me.
Angelic,
I'd rather be stood in a trench with those Barnsley lads than 16million Nick Cleggs.
The BBC and the 'liberal elite' have an agenda, some see through it, some don't.
you would never make a political analyst ... some of the top commentators are very aware of the campaign he fought, how and why .... and most comments favour his side!
I bet you are a Clinton fan! and she and her massive cavalcade of over 30 years proved she had and they had not learned a thing, so what of the future ..... and I suspect most of those voting for Donald had some of it sussed ....
Tell me why ...
Hilary in every aspect failed to combat any of Donalds claims instead decided to try find things that might elevate her to the high ground, but unfortunately she didn't get out of the swamp
