And yet Downing was Villas player of the year last year was he not. Oh and I wasn't just judging De Gea on just one game "idiot" I happen to have a thing called a television on which I get to watch football from such far away places as Spain. I have seen him have very good games but equally as many poor ones so was more than happy you got him as Vds replacement.
I think it does. Before this thread was made, a lot of decent threads ended up in childish arguments. Now, less threads end up in childish arguments. In my opinion, this thread keeps the crap in one place.
Keep spouting 19. Your opinion counts for nowt. United's defence is not rock solid and your midfield is still pourous. Put a bet on how many boot and hairdryer moments there is going to be in your dressingroom this season
Agreed plus I like this thread because it always reminds me that we're a far superior people than The manures
19 thinks United are certs for the title, but then again he thinks Rooney is world class and Anderson was worth £20 million,so his opinion counts for nowt.
Where did I say united are certs for the title? Honestly, bring a cogent argument to the table or **** off with your idiotic views.
Says the guy who thinks lightbulbs are dense (not dim), David Beckham doesn't have global appeal and that Mexico is in South America.
Exactly the same evidence. Without the conievence of Chelsea and Arsenal you would most probably have finished 4th
You do make a few good points here and there, but sometimes you talk absolute **** - the quote above being an example of the latter. A Man City 'the same' as last season (which they aren't, anyway, so stop stating bollocks as fact) will very likely still finish in the top 4 this season. Who below them has strengthened really apart from Liverpool? Spurs haven't, Everton haven't...and they're really the only credible contenders barring a surprise run from another team. And since Liverpool 'will fail spectacularly', City look good for top 4. You're also conveniently writing off your two biggest challengers from last season.
I think we will win our 20th but I expect Chelsea to be our main challengers. In fact I think we will push away from the rest of the pack slighly, IMO Villas Boas will be a hit. I think City will consolidate 3rd and expect Liverpool and Arsenal to push City close. If Arsenal don't get anyone else in I think they could be in danger of dropping out of the Top 4 because Liverpool have strengthened and done it well so you lot could be back in the top 4, depends on Arsenal really. Best of the rest, Spurs and Everton. I think Fulham, Stoke and NUFC to be the midtable teams with Norwich, Swansea and QPR to go straight back down.
