We played a rather strong Marseille team in the second half with a majority of youth players. Did Liverpool do that? I don't think so. You're clutching at straws, lad. Liverpool are doing **** all this season, the pre-season (although you won't admit it) is indicative of that.
Yes we did against Galatasaray. Yet this has been highlighted as Liverpool having problems at the back, but when United concede 8,its a training exercise. Then again what do you expect from hypocrites that continually move the goal-posts. What is your excuse for conceding two today? The referee dared to give Man City a free-kick.
If i remember correctly only 7 players in the entire squad that night were United players, the rest were retired players, Marseille youth players and even a French singer that won the French version of the X-Factor.
Played well as expected manure today but that keeper...you will struggle with him this year he's nowhere near strong enough and even though he'll be the best protected keeper in the prem (protected by the refs I mean obviously) he could well spread doubt and fear through that back line...more Taibi than Vds
This season is going to be great. Title number 20 is imo a certainty. Liverpool will fail spectacularly, Man City are the same as last season and will drop out of the top 4.
What? We had 2 Marseille youth defenders as our center backs in the 2nd half. We even had Bathez in goal
If our back-line is poor when we conceded no more than 3 in any game, yours must be dreadful when you conceded 8 in one game. Jones and Smalling played in that game against Marseille and were only taken off when you were 6-0 down. I've said this before,Most clubs are getting rid of the deadwood in their squads,Man United have no choice but to offer theirs new contracts.
Our 'deadwood' has won more and played in bigger games than everyone on Liverpools books. Our deadwood would be your superstars KPR.
This KPR clown is a joke Your dogleash has done eff all but bring in relegation fodder. Don't expect a top 4 finish. Infact, i'm glad you hope for that, it just gives me more enjoyment when you fail!
I'm sure they had only conceded 3 by the time they went off, I could be wrong but it certainly wasn't 6, although the fact you probably can't count past 2 is a good excuse for you to be totally wrong this time.
Relegation fodder? Weren't Stewart Downing and Ashley Young team-mates at relegation threatened Aston Villa? Wasn't Phil Jones in the Blackburn team that Man United beat 7-1,and weren't Blackburn relegation threatened. Didn't De Gea concede 10 more goals than Athletico Madrids overall average last season, their average is 48...he conceded 58 last season.
Downings entire career has been at relegation threatened teams. Jones is young and was very impressive at Blackburn. Young......ok but hes the better of the 2 ( Downing and Young ) and has been involved in some of Villas best seasons if recent years.
Jones was so impressive he played in a team that conceded 7 in one game. The only excuse he had was he was managed by Fergies boyfriend Sam Allardyce.
Eh? Big Sam wasnt the manager. The guy who was is the worst manager in the league and hes not even a manager. Kean.
