Whilst I'm here and I dont follow the African Nations Cup but are Gabon likely to feature and if he's fallen out with whoever is in charge are we to benefit from him NOT going in January. Just asking.
Yeah I didn't think he'd be going to be fair, Anichebe probably won't either. Kone is almost certain to go, Eric Bailly may not be fit in time for it, there's no chance we'll release him if he's not fully recovered.
So we still don't know what happened He could be lying in a gutter some where Or like I say the must know something or they wouldn't of arranged to send him back
Sounds like we could have a few problems with this lad... http://rokerreport.sbnation.com/2016/11/9/13576068/newswipe-update-ndong-excluded-from-gabon-squad
From what I've seen of him on the pitch he hardly looks like a trouble maker or anything so this seems a bit strange. Since we've not had an update of his current whereabouts can only hope/assum everything is okay.
I hope so too, we do have our share of problems, and so far the Dong has not been one of them, if you know what I mean.
Its the throwing his shirt at a team mate bit im concerned about, not the fact hes gone missing. The last thing we need is a disrespectful, self righteous little twirp playing for us.
Definitely a dickheaded thing to do to kick a water bottle and throw your shirt at the poor bloke being subbed on to replace you. On the plus side it shows passion and maybe we could do with a few win at all cost arsehole types. When I look at our team we're too small and too nice.
Aye I know what you mean - get tablets for them problems! Sadly there are not tablets to cure the ills that "supporting Sunderland" brings
Just read this seems to me that N'Dong is being made a victim/scapegoat of chaotic state of football in Gabon - he has made a stand against the corruption there. A bit like Keane against the FIA and Mick M'Carthy - the type of passion and emotion we need - he wants the best - we already have one of the best fan bases -we need his passion imo
