    Worse choice ever

The only difference is that Clinton does have a track record to judge her on , and it's a bad one

Anyone who thinks Trump is a better bet is an absolute ****** who shouldn't be allowed out on their own.

A new poll has put The Donald ahead for the first time. I think Royston referred to me as being "terrified" of Trump winning. You're damned right I am<yikes>.

My daughter has just returned from America, where Wikileaks released e-mails a week ago from Hillary suggesting attacking London with drones, and getting covertly involved in Syria. I don't remember hearing anything about this?

They reckon it's all over for Hillary Clinton. On the bright side, President Trump could cue a return of Spitting Images.

For the American public it's like trying to decide whether you prefer to be shot or stabbed.

Let's see what America looks like when he has made it great again. He has made a load more extravagant promises in his victory speech- let's wait and see how the reality plays out.

The supreme nations of the world have spoken: we will no longer tolerate the liberals and their moronic attempts at turning the developed world in to a cesspit.

Brexit and Trump reflect the will of the silent majority.

The left-wing intelligentsia can go **** themselves.

    Oy, Royston, where are you?
People can moan about this election, but if more of the electorate took an active interest in politics rather than sit and moan about politicians they wouldn't have ended with this choice of 2 ghastly candidates. That's where democracy falls down.
Nobody wants to die and everyone wants to go to heaven.

Did an "all nighter" election special because of work, followed by a normal working day yesterday on no sleep.

50% of the American people are now feeling as angry today as the other 50% felt in 2008 when Obama won. That is democracy. The Democrats might have won with a better candidate, although worth noting that the GOP won the Senate and the Congress as well.

Huge lessons for the Labour Party here [which they will ignore] - don't pick a candidate which excites your activist base, but is loathed by large swathes of the electorate.

The Donald won't turn out to be anywhere near as bad as people think - he will employ the right people around him, and his VP is eminently sensible too.

    ..or electric shock therapy.
What we are seeing is an increasing tendancy to turn to fraudulent politicians who tell us what we want to hear, rather than unpleasant truths about various things. In particular we don't like what the scientists have been telling us for over 30 years about what we are doing to our environment. This taboo subject was not mentioned at any leadership election here or America recently.
My Dad told me 50 years ago that people like politicians who lie, that's why they keep electing them<ok>.
