In 2014, UK exports to China were worth £18.7 billion. Imports from China were £38.3 billion.

We don't even know what their complaint is and they're utterly irrelevant.
America's elected a President that doesn't believe in climate change. I'd suggest that's a bigger problem.
    Right-wing nutter? That's fine, apparently.

    Only if you dont read
" "There was a technical fault which meant we had to interrupt the recording, leaving all of us sitting at our desks in the studio while the problem was sorted out in the control gallery.
"In the conversation to fill the void - in a brightly lit studio, in front of all eight contestants, a full studio crew and an audience of several hundred spectators - I asked the Reading team about the mascot sitting on their desk.
"One of them said it was a hand-knitted Jeremy Paxman doll. Across the several yards separating the chairman's desk from the teams, I asked the whole team whether they took it to bed with them.
"Though no complaint was made at the time, this, apparently, is what has upset them."
The student union's education officer, Niall Hamilton, said that the concerns over what he called "sexist comments" had not been adequately addressed.
"Misogyny and sexism are not about 'offending' contestants, but undermining and oppressing individuals due to their gender," he wrote on the students' union website.
"These forms of oppression should not be taken lightly," wrote Mr Hamilton."

That's what Paxman thinks it might be. He admits that he doesn't know.

"I have racked my brains to discover what on earth the Reading students' union is on about," said Mr Paxman.
"I think they're referring to a recording of University Challenge which took place in February 2015, though I am baffled at why it has become an issue a year-and-a-half later."

That's the bit directly before the part that you've quoted. Apparently you don't read.

So you think there was some other "form of oppression" that the nutter complained about?

You claim that they're nutters. If that's true, then who knows what they might be upset about?
Alternatively, someone could've said or done something else and Paxman might not know about it.
He could have done something himself and either forgotten about it, not thought it important or be lying.

We have no idea and the people are utterly irrelevant, anyway.
Who cares about a handful of Reading students refusing to go on University Challenge? It's irrelevant.

I disagree. It means the west and Russia can unite and look to form a solution that suits the local and regional stability.

IF, America and Putin's Russia can find some accord that will be adhered to by both sides, then the world will be a safer place.

However, let's not be naive here. Putin is a despotic dictator. He will play Trump so long as he's getting what he wants. There is always a price for Putin's friendship.

If I we're the people of places like Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, i'd be worried indeed!..

Avoiding admitting they are clearly nutters complaining about "oppression" - unless you think there was some serious "oppression" that Paxman just totally missed.

"He's not going into Ukraine, OK, just so you understand. He's not going to go into Ukraine, all right.
You can mark it down. You can put it down. You can take it anywhere you want," - Trump

"Well, he's already there, isn't he?" - Interviewer.

I didn't defend anything. We don't know what they're complaining about and nobody gives a crap.
They're being replaced and it's a nothing story. Who cares?
It's just another example of you blatantly lying.

    lol someone's triggered.

The white man came home Tobes, it's time to begin those 5 stages of grief, especially now that his fair maiden has finally rejoined his side.

There's enough salt in this post to run a chippy for a generation.

It's not worth the argument. Earlier he had a solution that shipping rare and endangered animals to an unsuitable environment at the Mexico border would be cheaper and more effective than a wall

Pete has tipped over the edge

That's an uncharacteristically reserved reply from you there, I think I may have just hit a little too close to home.
