It's the last group game in SS Group D and the Blues welcome the Sky Blues to Adams Park for the fourth meeting between the sides and the visitors have won two to our one so it's time to even up the score. There will be a few changes for this game but Will De Havilland misses out having picked up two yellows in the previous two EFL Trophy games. I will be making my way to AP for this one with the knowledge that win or loose we will through to the knock out stages so it's just to see who comes top of the group I'm not sure if winning the group helps with the draw for the knockouts or it's just for bragging rights
I've just looked it up and the group winners play at home to a second places team in their region so it could be Poxford or the franchise at home if we win tonight
Wycombe: Brown, Harriman, Jombati, Stewart, Pierre, Thompson (c), Bean, McGinn, Weston, Freeman, Kashket. #WYCvCOV
1-0 McGinn 31: McGinn fired goalwards from the edge of the box and a deflection takes it past Charles-Cook and into the bottom corner.
He is probably stuffing his face with food to keep his figure ok .I reckon he eats more pies than slasher
OK Rocky. 45: Freeman hits both posts! Coventry fail to clear, Nick takes it on, drills low, keeper beaten, bounces off one post to the other!
HT: Wycombe 1-0 Coventry. Blues unlucky not to be further ahead, but McGinn's goal separates the sides.
GOAL - and Kashket makes it two! 2-0 53: Kashket latches on to a hapless backpass, rounds the keeper and taps home. Simples!
