    Marxist?

I've got no Marxist leanings whatsoever, communism was a flawed ideal, hence the reason it failed.

What I find repulsive is the rise of the far right, which morons like you epitomise. A religious hypocrite with hate in his heart, you frightened, racist no mark

The result, like those recently preceding them, seems to show that the USA electorate
(by proportion of national vote) has no "great love or trust" in either the winner or loser.
You are using proportion of USA national vote as the primary basis of your claim, yes ??

Official figures give Obama 51.1%. Romney 47.2% virtually a 4% margin.

    https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/United_States_presidential_election,_2012

You can carry on spinning it any way you like. Trump has, at this stage, a 1% winning margin.

Where I'd agree is that there was no real love for either candidate. But that was the choice Americans left themselves with - god knows how, but they did!..

What are your ideals then, because either you're playing a character or you're telling fibs?

Possibly. But unlikely, IMO. Too left wing for mainstream America

Are you claiming that having 4% more of a national vote is a decisive show
of "great love or trust" ??

Judging by the resident lefties on here, it's clear they like to be controlled by others. Hence desperately wanting to stay under the jackboot of the EU.

In terms of the number of votes cast in a US election, it's quite a margin.

Whichever way, it still beats 1%

Why can't they just say: "Well, that didn't go my way. Time to get on with life."?

Can you imagine if Germany invaded the UK during the second world war. They would be the collaborators saying they wanted to change the Nazi regime from within.

The margin is not under debate here.
Whether a difference of 4% of the USA national vote constitutes :

    - a "crushing" win
    - a show of "great love or trust"
    - anything else you have to yet to claim based on the stats

    IS.
