Obama seemed a good guy but he didn't do much as president
Trump was an abuser of women in the past but I think he could be good for the USA
Clinton is clearly a crook - Whitewater, travelgate, filegate, cattlegate, giftgate, emailgate and more

I'll leave it there Spain. You're doing exactly what you did with the Brexit result, which is presenting your opinion as fact. The fact the just about every political commentator seems to agree with my sentiments, means that we have no idea what we're talking about?

Aye, well Mexico hasn't got much choice.
They cannot expect much financial aid from Trump anyway.

No, I was just trying to work out what you were trying to say. You don't really make yourself very clear.

    Where have I said that!?

The popular vote was 48%-47%. A close run thing between two of the worst candidates that we've seen for a long time. Is that ringing endorsement of Trump?

My opinion is that the overriding reason for Trump's victory was that the American electorate had had enough of the Clintons.

The Republican share of the vote has increased by 0.6% , while the Democrats have dropped by 6% .
    Nothing marginal there.

Maybe slightly controversial but Syria and Iraqs problems are to a large extent the fault of Turkey.

Much of the confrontation is due to water shortages and Turkey have been cutting off water supplies to these countries for 40 years to the point where they are now largely uninhabitable.

That's purely because Obama's victory was so crushing last time...

48%-47% is close, whichever way you want to try and spin it...

I wouldn't build a wall the full length of the border.
I'd build a wall where there are communities. In more sparsely populated areas I would build wildlife areas and fill them with lions and tigers and crocodiles and sharks.
The main problem will be tunnelling although I am sure that electronic surveillance can deal with that.
USA could speed up deportations and increase the level of workplace raids. It's ridiculous that illegal immigrants can still obtain licences.

Please feel free to show us how a 51.1% Democrat vs 47.2 % Republican vote
proportion in 2012 is "crushing" (NOTE : think VERY carefully how you answer this
because I may be changing the numbers to 51.89% vs 48.11% very soon indeed) ...

I wonder if the Clinton fans will demand a new vote, not that anyone else would demand one when they lose an election/referendum <whistle>

I'm no Clinton fan, Kustard. I just think she was the better of two unsuitable options.
