Actually I think Dorus didn't go for the money. The salary he's on is similar to the money he was offered at the Swans. He said as much in the press. His reasoning was that he wanted to a shot at the Dutch team (how he proposes to do that as number 2 to Hennessy I'm not sure) and that Wolves were 'more likely to stay up than Swansea'. Only time will tell, Dorus, but I hope to god the next keeper we get is better on crosses than you ever were.
He did not want to sign the Swansea contract which included a reduction in wage if we got relegated.... so it was monetary.
Well, in a roundabout way. But so what if that's right? He was a good servant to the club and was instrumental in our promotion. Good luck to him. Just hopw we prove him wrong.
