I don't blame him, anyone who's in and around a Premier League first team would be pissed off with an offer of a grand a week.
for me that's one of the problems kids getting obscene amounts of money when they have done nothing in the game
i Its supply and demand, if an agent is in his ear saying he could be one 5k a week elsewhere hes going to demand that. Although if our chairmen was normal, we could negotiaite 2,500 a week and the chance of some first team action in the Premier League, which will benefit both Bowen and Tymon. Lets be honest a move to Arsenal or Everton may be good in short term monetary wise, but in the long term the kid could realistcally end up at Port Vale on loan for 3 years and never be seen again.
yes it's not him though, it's the way football is now that if we don't offer him a better wage he will move on i mean who wouldn't want that incredible amount of money i do think this is one of the problems as to why so many young players don't reach the heights they can his mates from school or college will be on minimum wage or not much more and then hes going to be on over 100k, it's very easy to let it get to your head
without a true left back available, you'd of thought he would have played in the league but then again.. can we trust a untried player in our league position? its all double edged
Just give Tymon £3,000 a week if that's what he wants ffs. In the context of PL football, a grand a week, even for a reserve player, is **** all. My dad and other self-employed tradesmen can make near enough £52,000 a year fitting kitchens and bathrooms. If he goes to Everton or Arsenal because they're offering him £5,000 a week but he was willing to stay here for just £3,000, I'll be livid.
He's not really been given a chance. Instead we've weakened the effect of one of our better players Clucas by playing him in that position where he's been regularly skinned even more than Robertson was. I don't think there was anything to lose, and still isn't. Getting hammered by Bournemouth might suggest that.
I agree my biggest concern is that we are ruining our best prospect in Clucas playing him at LWB. The way Southampton started with Yosiba (bascially a centre half) and Tadic down our right putting Clucas in a 2-1 situation constantly with no help. I'd go back to 451 with Tymon and Clucas infront of him.
If philanthropic sees him training every day and doesn't play him when we have no full backs he obviously doesn't rate him.
