Yeah my feeling is that we will keep him. I think he'll want to stay for the reasons you mention and he's a normal and sensible lad who loves the club he's playing for. If we get relegated and some top side come in for him I'd be less confident but if we stay in the prem I think we'll always have him.
Unfortunately for us the current incumbent at Man City messes up every other game - and Jordan fits Pep's style to a tee. If he consistently performs at yesterday's level for the rest of the year I'd not bet against him being a city player come the summer. Fortunately for us, Man City have a knack in the recent past of paying massively over the odds for young English talent so we could be looking at a huge fee potentially.
The lad's been called up into the England squad this evening. Forster is out through injury! Well deserved!
Yeh I think heaton is a good keeper But before long it will be Pickford in his place. Then onward and upwards for the lad
Future England keeper ?, we need to give him a huge contract to keep him here and build the team around him.
I fear after the weekends performance some of the big clubs will be relentless in the pursuit of the next England goalie. Let's hope he Luvs his home town club.
I hope he stays for 2-3 years and gets a big move to United, Chelsea or City. Hopefully we create some good memories with the lad and rip their eyes out for him.
Pep desperately needs a new goalkeeper, and I mean desperately, the one he signed is a complete joke.
Wouldnt shock me if they went in for him at the end of the year. To be honest I think it's a move that would be good for him and City. Of it's 20-25m we won't have done too terribly either.
