It's the title he adopts, however inaccurate it may be. Yeah, I know, stupid.

Yep, don't get me started. He finds Bambi [the film] too emotional and frightening to watch, for example. I'm not kidding either. There are these people about. They think birds sing for pleasure, and butterflies are coloured the way they are to look pretty. You wouldn't ****ing credit it of normally intelligent people.

Aw shame. Comes to us all. 95 - good innings. I used to like the Legal Beagle moments. The Groceries bit, and wasn't there also a Raymondo.?

95, you're right - a good innings. Wonder if I'll make it that far? Then again, is it a nice thought or sheer horror that I could have 48 years left....[emoji45][emoji854][emoji51][emoji3]

I was once playing golf and a skylark rose out of a copse of trees, singing its beautiful song. We all waxed poetic for a moment about how truly perfect it was; it was marvellous.

Then I ruined the moment by pointing out that it was either shouting, "This is my area, f*** off" or, "Come and get it here, ladies".

The worrying thing for me is my other half's mother lived to 92, her mother 92 and her mother to 87 (born in 1874 i think), so I if I last another 48 years, going by history only 7 years of them will be quiet... :)

How long you wish to live depends on health....a dear friend lived to be 91, but the last year was dreadful. It's quality you want...to live as long as your life is worth living (by your standards, not the rellies mentioned in your will:bandit:). My family is a mixture of making old age and early departures...mine being prevented by an op....so having avoided God's call, I'm hoping for a decent innings. :)*

*As long as Saints avoid losing to teams like Hull!!

    Watership Down? <wah>

Made the mistake of watching Tarka the Otter with my (then) little girl, many years ago. I don't think she's forgiven me now, some 27 years later!! She says she was emotionally scarred ............

The shape wouldn't bother me....it make actually be easier to break, but it is misleading. I accept they may prefer to make the bars smaller in order to keep the price below a certain level, but the size reduction should be obvious from the outside.

Thought some might like to know that the progress on efficient, clean and cheap energy generation technology has been making huge leaps in the last 12-24 months. Andrea Rossi has been purchasing factory premises in Sweden and that's the last news I have of his technology at the moment. However, a rival called Black Light Power [now Brilliant Light Power], have long been working away in the wings. They've always been a year or so behind Rossi and their energy production is not so dramatic, although it has always been predictable, reliable and much cheaper than any other form of conventional and established nuclear energy production, should it go into production. They took their technology to Capitol Hill last year, for USA politicians to look at, and they weren't thrown out. Anyway, they made a low-key general announcement on 26th October, and uploaded it to Youtube just a couple of days ago. I've been slowly going through the videos. You might be interested. At least take a look and have a think about why we are building a nuclear power installation that is obsolete before it even gets off the designer's drawing board.

I'll check that out later - just about to go on a call.

Looks like we'll have a lovely white elephant soon :( Perhaps West Ham can train there!
