Just spoke to my mate in the US, he says Trump's support is coming from those who have been shafted by previous regimes. He has told GM and Ford that every car they import from Mexico will come with a tarriff and that would mean nobody would buy their cars, unless they moved production back to places like Detroit that has been left completely devastated by outsourcing materials.

There's hundreds of companies facing the same tarriffs under Trump, good on him.
