    We've brought in 3 better players who better than the ones we have sold. I would like to see us spend 10-12 mill on a striker though.

    Indeed, **** game like West Ham. Nolan cudnt score from 2 yards and an open goal. Ive got him down for 1st g/s............Kenny Miller just got it. Quite glad really. **** Sam Allardyce and Nolan right off. Hahaha

    aye it was a dull game, but then i expected nothing less from Fat Sam. Biggest highlights were seeing Fat Sam lose, and Nolan being ineffectual (after all the pundits going on about how he'll be a massive loss, they'll soon see that when he's not scoring goals he's not doing a hell of a lot else).

    I'll miss Nolan in the dressing room and training ground the most to be honest. Too many french fancies for a relegation scrap for my liking.

    true, he'll be a miss there, but on the pitch Cabaye (who's looked like a real battler preseason), Gosling and Tiote would be ahead of him for those 2 CM places, and now we've got more depth on the right, Barton would probably be shifted into the middle and someone else put on the wing ahead of Nolan getting a game, so he'd be 5th choice really (possibly 6th as he's declining as a player more quickly than most, and Guthrie's not too shabby if he can keep himself fit for more than 5 mins).
