Agree with this. Tart around as much as you like but irrelevant unless this translates into something concrete on the pitch.
You've only got to look at Scott Parker. He was in the cola-cola ads as a kid, doing keepy-uppies and poncing about, and just look how he turned out as a professional footballer. Absolutely bloody useless.
You mean good old "Crop Circles". Remember listening to the Three Legends ages ago when Crop was playing for us. Supermac voiced the view that Scotty would never be a top player as he was always spending too much time on his backside trying to block and slide tackle. It meant he was always just a second or two too late in whatever he was doing.
Never heard that one before. All I can ever think of his time at NUFC was him in the centre of the pitch going round in circles.
