As for goatees, it was a way of doing the same thing and still looking somewhar professional in a suit. If I'd wanted to be a hipster I would've kept a stubble in the 90's like you and looked like something out of Miami Vice. Bet you still got the white suit and the capri (north london testarosa )

Can't remember the last time I was clean shaven. Love the beard and not because it's "trendy", had mine long before the recent supposed fashion kicked in.

I am genuinely surprised so many ppl on here have a beard of some sort. Thought I was in the minority tbh.

 

I've had a beard of one form or another since 1993.
