They did that a bit back. The stated policy was to keep him on script, especially at rallies.

It doesn't really add much to the discussion though.

The lead up question involved a scenario where Iran attacks Israel.

The military have made it clear that her other policy of a no fly zone over Syria can only lead to war with Russia.

A bloke who isn't even capable of running his own Twitter account, obviously shouldn't be considered capable of running the most powerful nation on earth.

With Hillary's record on emails it's perhaps not a wise argument to press.

Having the sense to let the press office present his message in a way less likely to be misrepresented by others is probably sensible.

I mean, some of the rhetoric is just lazy, like claiming he has no policies, when a simple look on his website shows the nonsense of the claim.

There are plenty there to criticise, but claiming they don't exist just diminishes the thread.

A woman who thinks shes above the law and can delete 30k+ emails before the FBI got her private server, which she shouldn't have been using, shouldn't be trusted either.

That's even before you start thinking about exactly what the "charitable" foundation the Clintons have is used for and how its funded.

There really shouldn't be a "lesser of two evils" choice to be leader of any nation, let alone the US.

As Trump is notorious for lacking detail in any of his policies and completely changing them when they prove unpopular, it's entirely relevant to the thread.

I always find these threads quite enlightening reading the views of people who obviously follow the situation more closely than I do.

It's worrying that when you watch the US election debates, it's equivalent to watching some of our reality shows. They just take it in turns to have little digs at each other and try to highlight or spin things which the other has done. There's no actual policies. Trump just goes on about things being great again. Doesn't matter how, doesn't even matter what's not great about it now. It's just going to be great again cos we're sick of it not being great like it used to be.

    More unsupported rhetoric.

Here are his policies. https://www.donaldjtrump.com/policies. I'm sure they're open to criticism, but they exist and a discussion on the content could be more fruitful and interesting.

There are plenty of clips on youtube showing Clinton changing position 180 deg depending on the audience.

The reason these discussions collapse, is people make weeping generalisations, often inaccurate ones, and avoid discussing the actual policies or supporting their argument.

    I think I did.

PLT's is more a criticism of the media, and in that context I agree, as it just leads to simple rhetoric, which soon stumbles into abuse.

Trump is a racist endorsed by the KKK.
    Is that an issue?

    Trump is a serial misogynist:
    Should anyone care?

Trump is a serial liar. He lies 91% of the time.
    http://www.politicususa.com/2016/03/31/ninety-one-percent-donald-trump-false.html
    Does that matter?

Trump's whole negative campaign depends on scapegoats, hatred, paranoia and division.
Will that make him a good President?

Anyone who votes for Trump is worthless.

Trump said he was repulsed by the KKK endorsement. Don't forget, the KKK was created by the democratic party in their battle to stop blacks being treat as equal citizens. In the interest of equality, around 1/3 of KKK victims were white republicans.

A high percentage of his management team are female, and often the top earners.

So you believe he really supports the Democrats, as they created the KKK?
