Because I think the figure announce was complete bullshit. I don't believe it reflected how many were there, or how many had had bought tickets, I think they made up a figure to hide their embarrassment.

I think he did hint at the ownership situation ever so slightly, but he obviously isn't going to go too far otherwise he'll be sacked.

I worked for P+O, Cunard and the princess line ( not the dresses ) from the late 70s to the 90s, had some of the best times and worse times of my life on cruise ships......

Match of the Day 2 pundit Shearer said: "To go 1-0 down, to lose two important players early, to having to change the whole system when they brought different players on, showed great character.

"I thought they thoroughly deserved their result.

"When you look at the Swansea performance, lacking of attitude, you could never, ever accuse those (Hull City) players of lacking an attitude.

"If they go down they'll go down with a fight."

BBC expert and former Tottenham midfielder Danny Murphy was full of praise for the Tigers' talisman.

Murphy said: "It was remarkable, really.

"There was talk about him being out for a month and missing the England Scotland game coming up.

"Hull fans and Scotland fans will be pleased he's a quick healer because he was brilliant again when he came on.

"He's got this great ability in the final third to find the back of the net.

"That's his fourth (in the league) this season in a struggling side. We know he's great on set plays, right on the money.

"And another player who stood out is the captain Michael Dawson. It's no coincidence they've picked up since he's come back.

"In the second half, the spirit Hull showed was great and actually has hopefully given them a springboard to go and get some good results."

Totally agree. I was cheered by the match yesterday, including the first half. It was a return to the tactics used against Leicester and Swansea, soak it up and score in the second half. With fifteen fit outfield players it's the way we will have to do it.

Snoddy always looks up for the fight. He seems genuine when he scores, and argues about everything.

Wish all of our players showed the same passion.

    I ****ing love him.

Yep, first half was dire at times, it wasn't pretty, but a massive 3 points is all that matters in view of the other results to keep us with the pack. I thought the forced substitutions worked well, had a good impact, and whilst I wouldn't wish injury on any player, with Keane going off meant we could replace him with a "proper footballer!" Keane is not strong or physical enough, too easily nudged off the ball, he could do to go to the gym with Jake and bulk up a bit! I was hoping that we could get to half time only 1 down, and credit where it's due, Marshall kept us in it in the first half with some good saves, my MOM, his best game for us.

I also thought Mason had his best game for us, in second half he was pressing and chasing them down. Again, Marshall kept us in it with some great saves, and whilst the last 15 mins were nail biting, hanging on to the points, they defended and fought for their lives. Ref didn't give us much either. As I said, not pretty, but a massive 3 points going into the inter'nl break.

The crowd felt sparse walking from Argyle St, but I knew for sure it was a poor attendance while I was still at the bar in the concourse and I got on the stadium wifi for the first time all season.

I know this is against the grain here, but I think Henriksson, Mason and Keane are alright. So far they have been quiet players, but Henrikson in particular yesterday did his job efficiently and I saw him encouraging his teammates and trying to get everyone going more. Reminds me of Sam when he first started and he was slated very hard and unnecessarily. Mason needs to get the number of Jake's personal trainer as he looks relatively slight, and he needs to get stuck in a bit more to the physical side but he has the right ideas. Keane struggled when up top alone like all our strikers do - not his fault being isolated - shame about his knee.

Marshall pointed out in his interview with Burnsy that he's only been with the squad for a few weeks, max two months, and it will be the same for the others coming into the "band of brothers" over the summer. I've no idea what the atmosphere is like with all the staff departures, but however bad it is I think they're doing ok as a team.

I was all for boycotting. I even cancelled my pass. I then re-booked my pass because those players on the pitch really need our support. I'm not attending because I like the Allams - far from it I think they are utter ****s.

Attend and be vocal against our owners, but not attending is not IMHO helping in our quest to make the club look attractive to potential buyers or helping the players.

I do think the players deserve better support than they are getting at present. If you're wavering over attending games, get back supporting them as it was embarrassing yesterday.

We improved considerably when Phelan switch from 3-5-2 back to 4-2-3-1. Well played Michael.
