Gotze was their top midfielder IMO, he worked so well with Reus and Blaschowkswokwskizskiwoski (nailed it) and Bayern knew they could neutralise the threat by removing BD's best players, has nowt to do with Klopp's being there it was a side he assembled. He's doing it again already with Liverpool, Europa league final playing some very good teams along the way, with a team that wasn't his, he edges Conte for me, sadly because it's scary for a United fan!
I remember seeing somewhere the outlay for the team that played in the champions league final under him and it was something like £30m for the entire team.
Because that would be irresponsible spending. They don't have a big turnover, they've gone about it the right way. Besides they proved already that they don't have to spend big to win the league so why start after winning it?
