I am not sure which England U21 player has taken the place of targett, but i am pretty sure that he has not been playing fantastically well in a defence that has conceeded so few goals as we have over the last 6 weeks. McQueen should have been in that squad

 

Good call. He would probably have made it into the U21s if given a chance earlier by Saints....I blame Koeman. I have run out of milk and I felt queasy last night after too many chocolates....I blame Koeman for that as well!!

 

Thought Charlie might stand a chance with Kane just back from injury and Vardy not scoring.

And Sturridge is hardly playing. And when he has played, I believe he's yet to score in the PL.

Don't worry Charlie, we love you. (And besides, we can't afford him to get injured)

The England U21 game v Italy on Thursday is on BT1 (7.30). Look forward to that with Saints well represented (and playing we hope).

Brilliant news that Charlie Austin wasn't picked. The only bright spot in a terrible weekend.

Terrible news that Forster & Bertrand were selected. They are just going to be hanging around doing naff all with that bunch of tosspots. Both should feign injury to get out of that England twatfest.

 

I want Heaton to play instead of Hart.

 

Have you seen much of how Hart is playing in Italy this season then? Has Heaton been performing that much better than him?

I haven't seen much of Hart myself but I would play either of him or Heaton before Fraser. I can't quite put my finger on it but something is niggling in the back of my mind about the big man this season.....

 

He's made a number of high-profile errors already. On form Heaton is best at the moment I'd say, he's had a cracking few games including vs us and Utd.
