Agreed - but hasn't had that many this season and Defoe has more goals - but I'd rather Defoe was with us so we can wrap him up in cotton wool and keep the little fella fit. Sure Saturday was the first time he's scored against a former club!
In a totally selfish way for safc I'm glad defoe is not there, and kane is. Plus as i detest spurs, the more chance kane has off getting a knock the better
I think it's safe to say, aside from a catastrophic injury crisis to English strikers, Defoe won't be getting picked for England again no matter how many he scores.
