I think Assem no longer being around would actually increase the likelihood of Ehab still being at City. Supposedly Assem still rules the roost and wants out. God forbid we find out what Ehab is like as head of the family.

New owners Same ground League 1 3 or 4 managers come through There's an episode of the Simpsons where Hommer invest all his money in Pumpkins and glibly watches the price rise all October. Then he gets greedy and holds out for a bit more cash and the price crashes in November. I worry the same is happening with the club. If it's not sold before we are nailed on for relegation then it won't be sold soon IMHO. There will be desperate aset stripping and parachute payment pocketing before we are sold for a quid once every penny has been bled from the club. I hope I am wrong (I often am) and we are about to enter a glorious period of upward mobility with cup wins and European adventures...
Not sure who said it, but the asset stripping & pocketing parachute payments would be unlikely, due to the amounts that it would cost from losing everything. Also the Parachute payments aren't allowed to be harvested off by the rules of the leagues.
