Rather have Tammy Abraham to score some goals or even Sam Gallagher.

Anyone from Watford in 8th down could be relegated this season.

Beefy, I hear you, you were saying before the window closed we needed another striker. I dont disagree and its a shame long and hesketh have been out of the mix.

Am a fan of davis, but he hasn't quite lived up to his normal standards so far this season.

The top 4 have all scored twice as many as us, with the chances we create we should do better

Lukaku is the new Ian Wright when it comes to bogey players.

I wonder if Koeman will come in for Clasie. Everton aren't exactly stacked at CM

Put simply, if Austin gets injured we finish in ....th place? Insert a number depending on your levels of optimism, but it's not good.

This. We don't score many goals because we don't have many goalscorers. Davis has 14 goals in 259 career PL games. Redmond has 10 in 80 PL matches. Clasie has 10 in 192 top-level games, and none yet in the PL. JWP has 4 in 115. Long has 43 in 206. Jay has 22 in 85, and the vast majority came in a single season pre-injury.

The only players in the squad who are average or above-average goalscorers for their positions are Austin and Tadic, and the latter was our penalty-taker until recently. Boufal might help, but we still either need more players who are capable of scoring, or -- as we did during our best stretches in the previous two seasons -- we need to get into the open pitch where the chances are better, making even goal-shy players capable of potting a few.

    Hardly a clearout then.

We must have different definitions of such, then. Moving on/choosing not to re-sign 4-5 players who are at least in the rotation would qualify as a clearout for me.

Cedric not ready to return yet I guess. And Cuco in need of a rest. If we're going to play Maya out of position, let's do it against Hull because, er...well...let's not do it against Liverpool anyway.

Putting the obvious need for another striker which has been the case since pelle was sold, our midfielders are truly dreadful in terms of taking chances. I thought Davis was the worst but actually none of them are any good in open play. They literally need an open goal and even then you cannot be certain.

Yes, we're now officially in a relegation battle. Just over a quarter of the way through the season. Specifically, 29% of the way through the season and we're fighting for survival. Hell's teeth.
