Oh they will!!!..... Believe me there is only one thing on their minds, Losing £100+ Million, Bob is a dead man walking, and he should never have been appointed, going to get interesting over the next few weeks, watch this space...............<ok>
Hope you are right Phil.

Yet another strange selection from Brad Bobley, who is demonstrating as each match goes by that he is clearly out if his depth. The learning curve is steep for him, and with virtually every result going against us this weekend, the writing is on the wall and the Fat Lady is already getting ready......

I don't think you can criticise the Strikers here. They are being fed absolute drivel by our midfield. Routs can't cross to save his life and Barrow is completely left footed yet is played on the right. It's fine for him to cut in and have a shot, but our strikers can't do anything with that.
Then you have the likes of VDH and Mawson lumping the ball 50 yards to them to try and do something with (probably just doing what they are told mind you). When was the last time a full back made an overlapping run to get at them down the wing? (Again probably just doing what they are told). We offer zero threat going forward but I don't think that's because of lack of ability up top.
Montero and Barrow simply must start next game. **** Ki off and bring Cork back in (what the hell has happened to him btw?) And play Leon along side him. Leon can be our defensive midfielder, Cork our box to box engine.
It's embarrassing that every fan can tell you our strongest team, but our last 2 managers haven't got a ****ing clue.

As usual far too much well over the top reaction......Did anyone expect to win??? and if you did on what basis did you come to that conclusion. Fans calling for change and Bob gave them that with 4-4-2 and that was simply not going to work as they demoralised Leon (ineffective) and Ki who was poor in that formation that we should never play that formation again....The minute we changed back too one striker in the second half we were much better and we won that half 1-0......It is not Bobs fault it is not his fault he inherited a bunch of players that are poor or too old and past their sell by date to cope with premiership football and have not for a few seasons.....Lets all blame BOB and co to make us feel better but the truth is we have been on a downward spiral long before the Americans and Bob were even thought of.....

You must be on a wind up. Who the **** called for us to change to 4-4-2? A LOT of people called for the change of starting Barrow and montero on the wings, and guess what happened when we did, we were miles better!
And who is expecting to beat manu? It's one thing to expect a win from your team against manu, it's another to not expect to see yourselves 3-0 down and completely out of the game after 30 minutes! Please use some common sense when you are writing these things ffs.

Dai - I don't blame Bob in any way about the strength of the squad. How could we, he inherited it. Basically, the strength, or lack of it, is down to one man - Huw Jenkins - who has failed to recruit players who are good enough. The truth is, unfortunately, he started to believe his own publicity, not helped by the moronic chanting of "We love our Chairman".......

What I blame Bob for is his amateurish selections and tactics. Against Arsenal, his team selection raised eyebrows, but people put it down to Curt's influence.

Against Watford, we thought he'd learnt to be his own man & in came Mawson & Kingsley, and yet against Stoke he picks a midfield incapable of helping the defence, and topped that by bringing back Taylor, whilst Kingsley was banished to the U23s.

Today, however, the evidence was even more emphatic in demonstrating that the guy is out of his depth.

Second half was better, accepted, but virtually any & everyone in the ground would have brought on our 2 wingers and reverted to 4-5-1.

I dont think big Sam would take the job. Still I wonder when Berbatov will make his first start looking a cert now only one attempt on goal ( and that from a defender)

Sam would surely jump at the chance. Managing a Premier League Club, albeit a struggling one, is right up his street. A big bonus for avoiding the drop, on top of a big salary, would tempt anyone.

I disagree that there was lack of effort by the players and I thought Ki did ok. I do think Leon, Rangel and Routledge are past their sell by dates and until the January window we need to start looking at the under 23's and the bench. I would start Amat as defensive midfield in front of Mawson and VDH. Where I agree with everyone was the totally inept tactical set up we started with. I was fuming after 10 minutes. The form Utd have been in this was a game we needed to get at them . Instead a 10 man defence at times with no attacking outlet for the defenders which meant the ball kept coming back at us. The second half subs, all who should have been on from the beginning, did improve matters a bit. So on to the next game and as they say it's not over till the fat lady sings. On the subject of big Sam, unlike some on here I've always liked him, I don't think we could afford him even though I think he could do a job for us.

"On the subject of big Sam, unlike some on here I've always liked him, I don't think we could afford him even though I think he could do a job for us."

There are quite a few "on here" who seemingly don't like anybody, so that shouldn't be a reason to ignore Sam, or any other unfashionable alternative. He is unfashionable, and not everyone;s cup of tea.
I quite like Sam, he's old school, probably not even computer literate, but he knows his way around the P.L.

As regards being able to afford him, That surely can;t be the overriding reason, since there is a fortune to be lost if relegation actually takes place.

Whatever the team line up was on paper, on the field it turned into 3 1 6
Siggurdson, Borja and Llorente formed a forward line.
Leon and Ki joined the back four and Routledge was left with the rest.
Players were given impossible tasks today and while mason and Hoorn may well form a good partnership in the Championship they are mot a Premier League pairing. I'd have Amat in with either for the next game but that means yet another disruption.
Rangel & Hoorn were the only players who can hold there head up tonight - but others should be banding on the manager's door asking him to stop making them look stupid with his amateurism.

In Bob Bradley we trust to relegate us!! All thanks to the new American owners and there selection of the special bob the plonker championship here we come!! And monk doing excellent job at Leeds!! Says it All.. idiots running the club now!

I'm not sure after 4 games we can call for Bob's head....he is working with frankly a poor squad that is low on confidence, and that is all down to Jenks and the board. He's having to try to find the right team mix and Arsenal away, Stoke away, Watford and Man U at home aren't exactly the best fixtures to do so.

We still have to play 5 teams that are only 6-7 points above us. Somehow we have to get points from them and I think the 2nd half effort today needs to be continued and upped a notch. Come Xmas, if we're not out of the bottom 3 Bob will have to go. The games in Dec are when I'd measure him....as they are games I'd expect us to get points from. Lets be honest, points from the last 3 would have been a bonus. Another manager change right now and we're done.

Given the atmosphere today and anger shown toward the old board and new owners, I think the yanks need to come out with some sort of statement to reassure fans of their plans.....that money will be available to strengthen in Jan. If they remain silent things will get worse. At half time today I told my wife to be ready to leave with my daughter as I thought it would escalate....and it would have allowed me to vent properly too!

Finally, Siggy should be made captain. He never gave up and if only some of the others showed half as much effort as him we'd be fine.

<doh> plenty have called for two strikers as an option.....We have been going backwards for a long time that no manager can fix this without bringing in 4. 5 or even 6 replacements.....Jenkins has got us relegated nobody else....We will be relegated before the January window opens and that will determine what calibre of players that would want to join us and on top of that who will want to go....Gylfi wont want to stay and there will be others that will want to go as well, So you can blame the owners and Bob all you like if it makes you feel better because if it was anyone else we would be in the same boat.....The situation the owners and Bob have inherited is well below Premiership standard and the chances we have of avoiding relegation now is worse than slim it is practicably impossible... We have had a good run for our money much longer than what everyone thought so im disappointed and yet not disappointed at what we have achieved as we struggle on with one foot firmly stuck in the championship which in my view is the greatest club division in the world and fills me with excitement....

Naughton--------Amat----------VDH-----------Kingsley
----------------------Leon------------Cork-----------------
Barrow------------------Gylfi------------------Montero
--------------------------Baston-----------------

What must happen before we get this line up? Why can't the so called 'managerial experts' see this?

'Fat Sam', Steve Bruce and Tony Pulis - managers most club fans don't want, yet, guarenteed survival with them.

If Allardyce comes in, for me, that would guarantee our survival because he KNOWS what it takes to stay in this division. Bob however, hasn't a bloody clue.
