Why are Arsenal fans having a #meltdown over their draw?

Their goal was offside so it's a point won

    Manchester United
    Posted at17:52
Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho, speaking to BBC Sport: “Paul Pogba played so well, even without the goal. But the team was organised in a way that with the players close to him, Wayne Rooney, Juan Mata, Michael Carrick and Marouane Fellaini, he was surrounded by quality and experience. So yes, he was really good but the team was good.
"I knew that Zlatan Ibrahimovic would score. It was always a question of time. But one thing is a striker who does not score and does nothing for the team. He always does everything for the team. He will not play [United’s next game] because of the yellow card but I did not see it, I don't comment on referees."

Hose-a seems to be saying you have to surround Carlton with better players to make him look good. and by better player I mean Mata and Carrick. he also knows when Zlatan is going to score. I wish he would give us the nod before the next time he's going to score so I can have a few quid on it. <ok>

Big blow that Zlatan won't be playing vs Arsenal though.

Maybe it was James Blunt? Though considering he did military service I don't think he'd object that much to wearing a poppy.

Feel sorry for the fans at this game. The balls spent more time in the air, both teams instinctively hoof it!

Yeah, the boys at salford quays have found their headline today.

"Zlatan Ibrahimovic helped himself to a couple of goals for Manchester United, now he's producing the gold in front of the television cameras in the Liberty tunnel. Quotes on their way..."

Just as well LFC lost and never ended up top of the league then.<whistle>

Its quite funny to look at players like Huth, Fuchs, Morgan, Drinkwater, Vardy etc. that were all being hailed last season now back to looking like the mid to lower table players they've always been.

They are really quite average aren't they. Shows how low quality the league was last season, frankly all the 'big' clubs should be embarrassed about last season, more so Spurs and Arsenal who threw away a real chance to win the league.

Was Kante really that much of a difference?

How much will Vardy be regretting his summer decisions? <laugh>

It was the perfect storm - Mahrez and Vardy played to another level, Kante was a big player, no European football to worry about and pretty much every big club massively under performed.

Kante was a massive difference but it was still a freak season for them.

they got lucky at times but were in a place where they got that run out of vardy and suddenly realised they could maybe get LC if they really focused. They dropped every cup deliberately and they also packed the defense and pulled and dragged at every set play.

They deffo had the luck that no other club challenged really BUT they got a respectbale haul of points at 82. That would have got them at worst third in an ultra competitive year so they did amazing cos they stuck with it and they got through that dodgy patch with a series of 1-0s.

However i would still say. "no European football to worry about" is an attitude pervading the english media and its a bad attitude IMO. 99% of the time clubs with no europe end up... well.. with no euope each year cos they are ****e and the clubs in europe are better teams who develop the ability to cope with the top part of the tbale and the demands of it.
