Not being funny but I watched the whole game and I'm still not sure what Henriksen does. Can anyone enlighten me?
I didn't think Henriksen put a foot wrong. He was about the only player in the first half that didn't give the ball away.
keane going off was the turning point, hopefully that's the last we see of him in the 1st team this season
Maybe harsh but it's true, he's ****ing dire and Phelan seems to have some sort of morbid attraction to him.
I wasn't talking about his ability but with our injury list we can hardly afford anymore adding to it, no matter who they are.
I was excited to see Henriksen play but he hasn't shown any of the quality that was promised as yet. If he continues not to then Meyler is a better option for me as we weren't pressing anywhere near enough first half and that's what Meyler does best.
How has Henriksen shown that he's a better player with his performances for us? Being a good player is not all about your ability with the ball at your feet, there are other factors.
Not giving the ball away is a good start. He covers a lot more ground than Meyler and a better footballing brain. I'd rather have Clucas in the middle if I'm honest, but the midfield at the moment is alright.
I thought it was a decent shout, in theory. Maguire was doing OK but he was playing out of position and might have been knackered. Hudd's experience should have been a good thing...
Yes, the person going on about Burnley grinding out wins and how crap they were would definitely win.
Couldn't get a decent stream which wasn't freezing. So were we as poor as the statistics suggest? Yes, the defence deserve credit but it seems we weren't very effective going forward and created little. The highlights on MOTD never give an accurate reflection either.
