got the same feeling with Bruce mate, was pleased when he left, i personally don't think Moyes is the man, but hey ho, we just cant afford to go down, most of the fault lies with Shorts bad decisions he always seems to want things done on the cheap, but Sam has proved he can spot a bargain can get the guys up for it and plays a blend of footy i liked to watch, so far my heart is aching watching Moyes games, even yesterday, 2nd half we were being battered, by his tactics trying to hang on to a draw, sheer luck we won, im pleased we did but it didn't inspire confidence of more wins to come
Aye it seems a lifetime ago since bent gyan welbeck bolo steed etc. I can understand your feelings on moyes.
Been here about 3 minutes. Too early to get rid unless we want to spend millions a year getting rid of perfectly good managers without any giving them a chance. Could end up getting rid and going down anyway with an inferior manager to him. He needs time.
He's had a horid time with lots of injured players in an already weak squad. Wonder if he regrets not taking the 18 million for Kone and getting 2/3 other players.
I would regret it. Especially given he acted like a total **** re Everton, got a hefty payrise but has since played like a lily-livered douchebag. Guy needs to take a good look at himself. Twat.
I'm waiting for the "it was the players" comments. Has happened on here and in the stands with so many previous managers, blame the gaffer when things are going wrong, blame the players when something goes right!
My mistake. Point is good managers get sacked. Doesn't make them a bad manager. Jose's widely known as one of the top manager in the world if not the top manager. He's been sacked before. Sam allardyce, the bloke people on here get a raging hard on at the mention of his name, he's been sacked plenty.
but Moyse got sacked twice for bad results alone, not because he is good, and Jose got sacked from chelsea for bad results.
Yep, but at least the old chestnut about "rotten core" of players dragging the club down etc hasn't been trotted out yet. Oops, that's the genie out of the bottle.
True, but his contract was not renewed even though he won them the league. It has been reported that their President said that Mourinho should not have been allowed through the doors for changing the style of play.
