Well, it was pretty obvious Hull had to make a sub, so their players were getting instructions from the touchline. Plus, if they went over to the player someone might misinterpret it and there could be a mini-shoving match which is no good when a player is receiving treatment. And yeah, Saints were genuinely concerned and trying to wish the guy the best. No one was doing anything wrong, it just looks odd.
Yeah, but Saints are strolling this really. Much as I'd like them to up the tempo, they are managing the game rather well. Fraser has been a virtual spectator.
Onus on Steven Davis to get forwards and add to the attacks now, there's so much time and space for him to attack
I think a well-deserved yellow was the right call. But I honestly wouldn't have been mad if he'd seen red. Agree that he wasn't intending anything malicious but that was a reckless and dangerous enough tackle that I feel it is fortunate Mason wasn't hurt worse.
Puel is going to have to kick this lot up the backside....taking this too easy Clasie, Davis and Tadic are anonymous at best
Dusan actually came off worse. That was the extent of it. Looked far worse than it was. Hull City player has just felled Jose. Looks bad, but also nothing in it.
It's taken 41 minutes for the commentator to revert to the 'Saints revolving door' topic. Hopefully by the end of the season we might be able to make it through the whole 90.
Funny, but in the last 5 mins, Saints have gone from managing the game well to sitting back and letting Hull have the ball. Think it's because of Snodgrass. Not the best sign.
You just cant go in at thigh height with studs up like that, not malicious, just poorly timed, but he could and probably should have got a red.
