Im delighted with rose's performances, but his constant hysterical rolling around is really beginning to fak me off
Happy with that. Another draw, but that's the best performance we've had in a while. The players dug deep and pulled their finger out for the most part. Hopefully we can kick on from this in a couple of weeks after the break. COYS
1-1 FT. I think that most of us would've taken that at the start, but it's another frustrating draw. Played quite well and the back five didn't seem like a big issue for us. Haven't scored from open play in bloody ages, though. Clattenburg was absolute dogshit, again. The pundits praising him to the heavens, as usual. Utterly inconsistent and influenced by the crowd and players. Allowed a ton of petulance from the Goons, too. Very annoying.
Really good game. Thought we edged it overall but it was a pleasing performance. Trouble is we haven't won in ****ing ages and we can't score from open play. Not motm but I think Wimmer deserves a mention, unlucky to be booked early on and very unlucky with the own goal but he kept his head and put in a good performance.
Much better!! Eriksen improved on his season to date and overall got to be pleased, even though we arguably had he better chances to win it. However..... doubts remain about Son & particularly Janssen, who appears to offer little than winning the occasional free kick. Hope Walkers not too bad!
Second half performance was a real plus, not that we were awful in the first. If Big Vinny had worn last season's shooting boots then we might have had 3 points, as it was it just looked like nothing was going to stick for him. To have Kane back for 70 minutes and have him scoring is another real bonus. Hopefully he is nowhere hear the England teams and he gets a chance to build some match fitness away from that soul-crushing machine of ineptitude. So some good performances all round particularly from the defence, wingbacks and CMs, we kept some of their big players pretty quiet throughout and adapted to a different system well. I agree with YV that Wimmer deserves some plaudits for keeping his head when he could easily have gone to pieces. I think we might have snuck it if Kane had played 90.
