Have our players forgotten that offside exists? We've been worse than Inzaghi.

How Wanyama and Vertonghen have escaped bookings in this game is beyond me.

But of course, Spurs never get the rub of the green...

Happy to be 1-0 up at half time but the amount of times we've been offside is ridiculous. It's not even marginal, it's by yards. We should be exploiting the fact they only have 3 at the back.

Giroud should come on if we can't get a second anytime soon. Not impressive so far.

Started slowly, seemed a bit confused by the new system Spurs are playing. A couple of wobbly moments from long balls over the top but then we've grown into the game and for the last 15 looked the better team and created a few good openings.

Walcott looks fired up and the more he gets knocked about the more he is going for it. The whole team look like they are up for the fight after that challenge on Walcott!

Walcott hit the post, Ozil put the rebound over, Iwobi hit a good chance straight at the keeper. I could feel a goal coming and then Ozil assists a Tottenham player for the own goal, lovely stuff.

Surprised Tottenham haven't had more yellow cards though, they are throwing themselves into challenges. Wanyama in particular should be on a yellow.

Coquelin has made some good challenges for us.

Walcott, Sanchez and Ozil looking very determined so far.

We performed better in the final 15 minutes, and to be honest for all of Spurs' possession, we've had the better chances. Iwobi missed a guilt edged chance, Ozil missed an open goal from Walcott hitting the post and Sanchez had a few half chances.

Space opened up when they started to press higher up the pitch.

We should have had a penalty for Vertonghen trying to take Xhaka's shirt off and Wanyama could have been sent off.

Our goal probably shouldn't have stood in all honesty as we had like three players offside <laugh> But that's not our fault, the officials should have spotted that.

    I'm not complaining though.

Since it was an own goal I suppose it's up to the officials to decide if the Arsenal players who were offside had an effect on the play or if he was going to plant his head on it anyway? If an arsenal player finishes it I think the officials probably call for offside...or maybe I'm giving them too much credit and they just didn't see lol

Great header into the corner of the goal <laugh>

I suppose when Ozil plays a ball like that into the box it doesn't matter who you are... You just can't help but to finish it off <laugh>

    Was great ball from Ozil.

Spurs started the match well. We need to be compact now and punish Spurs on the break.

I love how the pundits have overlooked Vertonghen trying to put on Xhaka's Arsenal shirt when we had a corner.

I know I've mentioned it a few times already, but the rules are clearer when it comes to shirt-pulls: by the letter of the law, it is a clear penalty. Should have been given.

On the balance of things, 1-1 is fair so far.

We need to impose ourselves on this f=====g game we are letting them do what they want with no pressure.

I agree, but I don't think that was a penalty. Seems like Clattenburg is trying to even things out...

And now they have the momentum. Brilliant. Just what we needed <doh>.

If this comes down to a tactical battle there will be only one winner.
