I see nothing wrong with us working and dealing with the EU either.
I just don't think the EU should be able to make rules governing our country.

I don't think some people know what a bigot is, but free movement within the EU restricts global free movement. An advantage of being out is that we can now rejig our benefits system so that those coming for those, rather than bringing useful skills will find it a less attractive option.

They won't be once we leave, so you're going to get what you voted for.

They don't. They just see "bigot" as a term of abuse that they use when they are losing an argument. Bigot has a meaning that only intelligent people seem to understand.

I thought that was the other leave group rather than Farage.

It's a nonsense anyway, as it was debunked before the vote. The general concept of us deciding how our money is spent resonated though.

Then we renegotiate. If you're trying to say that the EU won't give us access to the single market on any grounds, then that is clearly wrong, as they have already said that we can have access to it, but that it comes with free movement .

UK: This is what our parliament say we want
EU: This is what we expect in return so let's negotiate
UK: OK, let's see what the options are so that I can take back a compromise to parliament.

However the negotiations go, any deal will require parliament to put into law and so the negotiating position should reflect that.

The amendments we'd already made to our benefits system in 2013 makes it an unappealing choice to come over here now, if that's your goal. They have to be self supporting.

A compromise to free movement might be that we're allowed to make those rules even tighter and therefore make it virtually impossible to rock up here without being able to support yourself or have a job to come to.

The tighter ones were blocked by the EU. Now they have no input, our government can govern.

And this is why Corbyns comments are pretty pathetic

Only we'll have to reach agreement on this key issue in order to retain single market access

This is where the compromise will be made imo.

Do you even understand what single market access actually means? As given your comments it appears that you're confused

We can have access to the EU single market, without being a member state, but our terms of trading will be vastly less favourable than they are now.

Yes, Farage was part of "Leave.EU" whereas "Vote Leave" organised the bus. It is obvious to any non-bigot that the people who supported anything said during the referendum campaign that the comments were "advisory" and couldn't carry any weight because the people who would make the decisions would be the government who was in power after we left the EU.

Other countries already have systems that are less attractive to immigrants so we could take the key bits from them.

what is this "access to the single market"? as I keep saying - all the countries in the world have "access to the single market". As soon as we leave the EU we will have "access to the single market". You must be a bigot if you don't understand the concept.
