Brilliant. My Cubs supporting mate says they've had huge signs up advertising the game all over the city.
And Jimmy gone on the same night....... If carslberg did Saturday nights........... Bring on the six nations
Look it's an amazing night. NZ are a truly amazing team. History made for us. It's really important for all northern hemisphere sides that we (us all) continue to beat Southern Hemisphere teams ahead of the next World Cup. England and Scotland getting stronger and stronger. That's what's important.
I better be careful but Wales have been stagnant under Gatland for the last few years. Way too one dimensional. Great players sh1te coach. Watch how the lions will contain 10 or more Welsh players.
Nice little win over Wales, just saying ............ http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/ru...allabies-crush-hosts-five-try-demolition.html
Missed the whole thing as 1. It was on BT sport which I refuse to pay for and 2. being the families cab driver for the night. Well done Ireland, a magnificent victory against the best side in the world.
It is one thing doing it in Autumn internationals which are essentially friendlies. It is entirely a different thing doing it when it matters, in a world cup quarter final for example. As and when Irish rugby gets that monkey off it's back and goes and qualifies for a World Cup semi, then the players deserve some praise. It's a bit like QPR beating Real Madrid in a pre season friendly. It means very little.
We'd struggle to beat their Under 18s team, we couldn't even beat Burton in pre-season... Enjoy the moment, the All Blacks have been getting too big for their boots...
Being from QLD I'm guessing you're more of an RL fan Aussie? I prefer league and the Kangeroos v NZ was also a cracking game last night. England play the 'Roos in the Olympic stadium next weekend, I would've gone but I'm out of town. That being said England will be out classed and probably on the business end of a stuffing. I won't mention our performance against Scotland. Going back to the union, Pleased for the Irish. Given their unbeaten record the all Blacks must've taken it seriously.
