The club may need to show this Philosophy to the players and manager,as it seems to me they havent read it yet .
This posted on LFW from someone who was at the game, 2nd half sounds as if we played really well even when they had a player advantage.... And I must admit I didn't see that coming. The first half with Henry back dictating play was as predictable as you could imagine. We were woeful and allowing Forest to dominate with Onouha having a horror time against Assombalongawonga. Almost gave a goal away from a long ball over him head that he tried to intercept rather than go with A'wonga and totally missed the ball leaving A'donga a free run on Smithies where the England No.1 did his customary easy save. Then shortly after Onouha gave away a free kick on the half way line which looked a bit unfair only for Henry to get involved and get a booking. Ten minutes later as their long-haired Portugeezer made a break in our half, Henry ran across behind him and inadvertently took him out, for me deliberately and a definite yellow card. Shortly after this anothe ball over the top and A'minger once again had the pace on Onouha and got to a 50/50 ball with Smithies first who took the option not to take him out and risk getting sent off (Rob Green take note), with A'longamonica then controlling the ball from a tight angle and threading it in. Well that was that, game over, team in disarray, one man short, although that man was Henry and one down. Thankfully half time away only a further seven minutes away. I've often thought that the problem with Chery is that to be really effective in the No.10 role, he needs a player like Chery behind him and supplying him.
Pretty much how I saw it. Rousing performance which restored some faith. Just one thing not mentioned which should have been. Cousins played in the centre and had his best game for us - comfortably. So that's why he was bought. MOM for me
Before the JFH shooting, (SLF in the book depository or TF in the grassy knoll?) I'd been contemplating the reports and thought that JFH's behaviour was that of a dead man walking.. petulant and lacking respect for the team. Unlike JFK, he had to know what was coming.
