He's discovering just how hard it is in the Premiership. It isn't doninated by one or two clubs like in Spain and Germany.

Chelsea look like they are on ominous form after hammering Everton 5-0. The Prem is hotting up nicely.

yes. We did fire it up.
I would be worried, if I were you. Your annual 4th spot seriously in doubt this year.
top 4 still target for us, but nice to be top of the league.

Have more trust in Spuds' luck. They will rob a point or 3 from you this Sunday.

6-0 that was Spanking at the bridge.

3-0 was a gift from Cahill to you.
Don't get too comfortable in top 4 yet.
Finally This might be the season, you fall out of top 4 - Utd, City, Pool & Us.

You left Spurs out of that (probably on purpose ) but if they get Kane back firing they will be well in the mix moreso than us (United), at the moment <ok>

No mate. Whenever I have watched Spurs this season - they were like Spam or Sunderland - decent bottom half team but with lots of lucky breaks.
Not impressed by any of their performances.

Don't bet against Jose or Utd. You can fix things in January window - Levy typically will make things worse.

I said - Chelsea are battling for top 4 - Goons spot to be precise.
    Nobody talked about title.

City will be top 4. Goons may be in another 10 years. Never this year.

If you don't think we'll make top four you are seriously deluded.

Wenger has made top four with FAR weaker teams than this. This is probably Wengers best squad since 2005/2006. We will do better than last year.

Like I said either us or City.

Like I said, neither you nor City will win the Title.
Arsene has engineered Amazing Calendar years & awful seasons all through out the last 10+ years.
History suggests, 2017 is going to be a huge goof up for Goons.

It is not how strong your squad is - it still lacks Mental forte - that is important.
In my book - Goons have better chance of missing out on *G-Spot than winning the title.

None of us are as Deluded as Goons or Spuds to talk about TITLE <ok>

*G-Spot - Goons Spot aka 4th Spot you dirty mind.

Don't you think other teams around you have strengthened just as much or even more?
I actually think Arsenal have by far the best squad depth but at least 3 other clubs have better teams.
It may all come down to who has the most/worst injuries, Arsenal are usually not good with this but now have better back up than in recent years.
Top 4 is between 6/7 teams, title is probably between 3 at the moment.

Traditionally we loose a bunch of points in November due to injuries.
This year with the emergence of Iwobi and the additions of Xhaka etc.. we are better equipt to make it through this period than we have been for years.

Plus I think we've finally fixed our striker problem. Sanchez has 8 and 4 assists in 12 games upfront and Girouds not exactly an awful plan B.

Its hard to look past Guardiola for the league but I fancy ourselves to improve on last year and make a decent challenge of it.

    More optimistic (logical) arguments.
If you miss your November tradition, you will always stumble on your February tradition <laugh>
That is what Arsene does & did for last 10+ years. Great first half - awful second half of the season.

I will consider Goons for title if they are 9 pts clear come May 1st.
    History never lies unfortunately.

I agree, like I have said, I think you have the strongest squad depth in the league at the moment. I still think it will come down to injuries because you don't have the best team.
If City, Chelsea and maybe Liverpool can keep their first team relatively fit then they are more likely to win the league than you. My opinion only of course.

I have tried explaining this to the scousers but because I'm a Manc they seem to think I am saying we will win the league (paranoia knows no boundaries <laugh>)
Liverpool, Spurs and Arsenal have spent the last 12 years starting up in the top 4 with the optimism of winning the league.
Every season the one closest to the top implodes and allows others to win.
Even last season when Chelsea put the tools down in August, United were **** and City went on holiday once Pelligrini said he was leaving the other top three allowed Leicester to sweep past them and win the title.
This is in no way decrying Leicester's achievement, they earned their title <ok>
