Okay I have just seen some posts from fans wanting us to lose so we can sack Jimmy. Not my views or what I would want.
I am not happy with the style of play that is being served up, nor am I happy with JFH's team selections, but are our expectations way too high? We are no longer spending huge amounts on players, so is this as good as it gets?
Unfortunately it seems some posters on here cant accept other people's opinion, unless of course it aligns with their argument.
I've just got in from being in a desert most of the day. I see we drew 1-1 and Henry got sent off. How is he still getting a game? Were we any good?
A DoF should give better control but may prevent us bringing in top Manager, as it well may well have done with Colin about a year ago.
Deserved point in the end. Came out second half totally different. We dominated even with the man disadvantage and carried on after the numbers were evened up. Which begs the question why didn't we do this from the start? They were dreadful and were there to be taken apart. Happy with the point after being a goal and a man down but it really wasn't good enough. You may see me in the goal celebration melee patting Sylla on the head.
We don't have a few years! The parachute payments from the PL dwindle, any good young squad players wont wait, many of old support won't last either. it can and must be done quicker.
That was funny that celebration. The bloke that jumped on the pitch made a attempt to lose himself in the crowd but ultimately got turfed out.
Yeah he was right by me. The copper stood on my foot pulling him out. Dunno how he thought he was gonna hide there as we were quite isolated in that section.
"Philosophy" is the buzz word used by every man and his dog in football..can any one tell me what exactly is the clubs philosophy? I used to think our philosophy was entertaining football, played on the deck with a swagger.all ive seen on a regular basis is un-entertaining football with no cohesion and nieveity from Jfh..
I could never want QPR to lose..but heres a hypothetical question- if we were playing a team and if we lost that would stop Chelsea from winning the Prem what would your thoughts be then?
CLUB FOOTBALL PHILOSOPHY Our club football philosophy is to play a creative and fluid style. Our teams look to attack and the players are comfortable and flexible with or without the ball. We embrace individually talented players who work hard within the team dynamic, key attributes which resonate with the fans. Our intent is to compete and thrive within the Premier League. A QPR player must be adaptable and able to cope with changing circumstances. Our players are not coached in a playing system but more in a playing style. Our style is not a rigid formation system but will include play through the thirds (possession based or counter attack), based on exceptional technique, intelligent individuals, capable of beating opponents 1v1 and via team movement. Defensively we are flexible and players are comfortable and adept whether pressing or holding; playing a high line or deep as required. Our players are encouraged to develop within this style whilst we recognise every player is an individual and very different. Different “types” of individual players and specialists are sought – effective in making, scoring or stopping goals. However all share common traits – awareness, perceptiveness, flexibility and the ability to play what is around them for the good of the team. At first team level, the performance of the team is always of greater importance than the performance of the individual. The individual player’s performance is always of greater importance than the teams at all levels below the first team. Our intent is to prepare players for Premier League football whilst being able to adapt to all other levels and our coaching/teaching principles and tactical cycle reflects this.
