Thinks that's a tad harsh Ellers, I think most of us realise that the side is not performing to its potential and that is partly down to the manager and partly down to the players as they are the ones who cross the white line.........what I find hard to accept are supposed fans wanting us to lose so that in there minds the manager will be sacked......well even if we had lost today there was guarantee that he'd be gone.......I just don't that mindset.

What was the score in the rugby? I've just seen that the Babas drew 31-31 with S Africa but haven't seen the Wales result.

Actually I think it works quite well as it leads to stability and controls spending......would you prefer going back to the Redcrap era? Do you honestly believe the Rio Ferdinand embarrassment would have happened with a DOF in place?

With a DOF the coach can change without the upheaval of buying a complete new squad on the next coaches whim........

Apparently we looked a lot better in the second half when we got the ball out wide and started to get crosses into the box.

Wales 8 Australia 32. Aussies were outstanding, first half especially, much better at the breakdown and faster than the Welsh. Their number 10, Foley, ran the game, despite some poor kicking.

Cheers mate, I might watch it later as I'm home alone.

My word what a goal from Sidwell for Brighton.

    Yes I would, minus Redknapp.

You have to speculate to accumulate,

do you like sitting mid table in the championship with very little direction?

Southampton put such structure in place when in League One and haven't looked back since. Don't need to be a big club to be succesfull with this kind of structure. It's put in place to preserve the club. To make sure the club don't struggle when you lose/sack the manager, lose players etc. There are a clear philosophy in place of how the club should be run regardless of which manager or players are at the club. Contingencies are in place to make sure the club can move forward when they lose key personel. Hopefully that is what the club are trying to put in place. Considering how mismanaged we have been for years these changes take time and won't happen overnight. We, the supporters unfortunately are an inpatient fickle bunch who won't look to the future, we want instant change and success.

As I have said many times Tramore I would NEVER want us to lose just to get a manager sacked. His inability will do that.

Well clearly 17th in table, with even our current austere budget is under-performing, and the manager clearly has a significant responsiblity for that performance, as do the players.
I don't read any post of people saying Jimmy is blameless, more so frustration, that as a club we just keep moving backwards, or that the turning circle from the reckless money burning days is soooo slow.

Agree look at Burnley, Leicester who went up with us? Look at Bournemouth and Hull. We just seem to c2ck it up time and time again. Agree why do we need a DOF? Why can't we get players that are fab to watch and win games.
We keep making the same mistakes. First was not getting rid of Redknapp when we should. Then giving Ramsey the job. Then not keeping NW. Then giving JFH the job. The next mistake will be giving the job to Dim Tim.

Been there, done it and look where it got us.........

If it means a few years of mid table mediocrity to stabilise the club, it's spending, it's structure then yes.......I'm old enough to remember when we first got promoted in 68 and if ever a side/club was ill equipped for top flight football it was us and we are in the same position now, we are not equipped for the top flight. What is needed IMO is a few years to get a good squad together and a footballing structure then we can have a good crack at the top flight.

On my way back. Much better second half. Easily the better side second half even when a player down. deserved to win really but happy with the draw especially given the situation at ht.

We are the 5th highest spenders in the league. We had ex prem players in the team as well. We paid £3m for Washington. Yet we get stuffed at home to Preston?
It's not my fault KDPH. I am unhappy at paying a lot of money to be entertained and watching rubbish every week.

TBH I cannot think of any who have said "i hope we lose so we can sack JFH".
As I said I never wanted him to start with and was vocal then as I am now. I hope all the ones that told me i was talking rubbish back then don't turn on Jimmy now as he needs all the support he can get.

Their sending off was harsh too, but I'm not overly concerned about our enemies fortunes. Our goal was a well crafted work of sheer genius. :D
