On individual issues, perhaps but not certainly. The incessant drip of bias in the coverage is shameful, Question Time has done it for years . It was bias during brexit, and and remains so during the US elections. The focus on the timing of the release of the emails, and if the FBI were acting legally, rather than looking at the implications of the content is revealing.

Yeah I know. Some of the fixtures thrown up are baffling to me too.

"Equally deplorable"? You think so? The fact the BBC and the Guardian are avowedly liberal and tolerant, and clearly opposed to racism, sexism and all forms of discrimination, is in any way equivalent to the outpourings of thinly disguised racist, homophobic bile the Mail, Express, and Telegraph splash all over their front pages every day? You really believe that?

You consider the Guardian's well argued pro European stance to be in any way equivalent to the Express, Mail, and Telegraphs almost daily misinformation demonising asylum seekers as terrorists, dole scroungers and NHS tourists?

    Get a grip mate.

If you believe the BBC is impartial, you'll be a tin foil hat salesman's dream.

I don't agree, I think the angle on the US election represents that of the majority of onlookers, 2 awful candidates but one prize lunatic

American politics is at an all time low.

As for the supposed left wing bias of the BBC in general, that's not accurate either, they're centric and have been for donkeys.

    Absolute diversionary bollocks.

You call me a hypocrite, yet can provide no evidence to back up your ridiculous allegation.

Unless and until you can point me to where another poster, apart from beelezebub's shriveled nutsack, has made a deeply personal insult against another poster's family - and that I've in someway condoned it, you might have a case.

As it is, you're full of wind and piss, yet again!...

Bang on mate, comparing the 2 ends of the spectrum and concluding it's somehow equal lacks any form of genuine substance

Your replies and indgnence and your attempt to shift where the line is drawn are evidence of your hypocrisy.

Your sliding to personal abuse again confirms this.

Do the BBC still use our money to pay the racist Abbot to invade our living rooms?

I'll grant you that both are full of political bias. But it's only the right wing tabloids that have resorted to the kind of rabble rousing, xenophobic rubbish we saw yesterday.

Comics, like The Fail, The Sun, and particularly The Excess have published a never ending volley of bigoted, xenophobic, racist nonsense for the delectation of the moron brigade.

I don't read The Guardian. They most definitely have a left wing bias, but don't indulge in the kind of rabble rousing, sensationist garbage that those tabloids do.

    More pointless rubbish...

So, to answer my own question, you cannot provide any evidence whatsoever of my having posted, or supported one poster posting highly personal abuse about the family of another.

Thought so, because I never have. <ok>

No it isn't, not remotely. But I doubt you've ever read it.

The fact you've made a claim I didn't make, and repeatedly told you as much, in an attempt to win an argument shows you know you're on a loser.

Given I started by saying I agree with you, your desperate spin to justify your hypocritical indignance and your use of personal abuse is amusing.

When have they ever done that? Diane Abbott is not employed by the BBC, and I'm pretty sure she never has been, so what do you mean?

And can you please provide evidence of her supposed racism?

For me the difference is the spiteful nature of the right wing press. The level to which it slurs and delves into the lives of those who voice opposition and the way it chooses a target for its hate is nasty.

You can guarantee that right now they are looking for dirt on Gary Lineker, Gina Miller and the three judges that has nothing to do with the actual decision taken and everything to do with undermining credibility.

You tried to accuse me of hypocrisy. Implying that my condoning of the abuse of Saxton was the same as somebody personally abusing my lady.

I will spell it out one last time. Personal insults, if they're made, I'll respond as I see fit. I never have and never would resort to the highly personal abuse of another poster's family. Only one poster I am aware of has done that, unless you can point me to another, which you clearly can't.

Your attempted deflection of the discussion is a failure. You're the one sitting on a loser!...

As usual, the deflection and hypocrisy is all yours. <ok>

I still think someone abusing your wife is wrong. Having to suffer living with you must be abuse enough for anyone.

If you take the time to look into it, the left are far, far from innocent of it,

Before the usual suspects jump in, I'll not post individual examples, as it's a creeping policy. It's what brexit and Trump are reactions to.
