Didn't expect this thread to get any serious responses.Posted as a bit of light relief on the board due to all the recent doom and gloom, infighting and bickering that has been going on,coupled with our teams performance so far this season. Giac - Pea and ham would be my preference (over that **** that I just made up) Nos - I make pies and pasties fairly often but wud never put cabbage in either! Natcho - Tend not to throw any left over food away, unless I really have to Thanks for your responses though, lets look forward to our first win tomorrow
It was a dodgy recipe anyway mate. if you'd added a glass of red wine or a pint of Guinness then we'd have been cooking! Literally!
No you warm yourself up with the soup and some crusty buttered bread, have a gin and tonic to cleanse your palate then get stuck into the whiskey. Six pack of Tennents super for dessert. Monty's nodding along.
Couple bottles of Malbec have done the trick for me tonight like. Monty's probably not with me on that mind you.
I think Monty bathes his eyeballs in methanol so probably not, I'd be nice and sloshed after a couple of bottles of wine.
It's been a gradual process tonight so not too bad. Had a mental week/10 days at work so quite content with the Trivento as my best pal tonight.
Like the soup Nacho but sounds like a little too much whiskey for me. About half a litre's worth. I'll stick with the Guinness and red wine mate.
I prefer sweet potato and butternut soup. I boil it all up with onions and herbs and stock, blend it with some chilli flakes and then put it in a Tupperware in the fridge until it goes off, then throw it in the bin, with the Tupperware.
