I would like to know what you are taking valley if you think a player long past his best not ever wanted by any other club is our best player....
Sousa had the same laugh at Britton and the club when he made a meager offer to Britton , before Leon had to get away from Paulo and went to Sheffield , and called it " Swansea's most expensive Contract " ever.....Paulo was no loss for me , and it brought Leon back when Sousa left .Win Win ...
Roof what part of best player we have dont you understand what has going to a lower league club and got so desperate after throwing his toys out of his pram got to do with anything.. Oh and as a side note Sousa was the best manager we could not hold on to as he would not take the crap Jenkins tried to give him and as we can all see he was right to tell him to stick his club where the sun dont shine.....
By the way I have heard that Franco has taken the Swansea city board to a tribunal? good on him, and the yanks are bringing over a legal team with regard to the trust, (will be here for the Manu game)? They are not happy regarding the Trust statement, and that there are legal issues over the fact that the Trust never wavered the original shareholders agreement, and that there is a possibility that they may now not have full control over the club, these facts were kept from them by Jenkins and his gang of robbers, and there may also be issues for Jinx and his co-conspirators, with regard to full disclosure of the equity of the take over. It's starting to look as if the Yanks are seeing the legal issues with the Trust as an opportunity to get the hell out of the whole situation. Contracts signed... null and void, recoup what they can from Jinx and his band of robbers and walk away, I would accept a drop to the Championship if it meant Jinx would have to give up his ill gotten gains, and hand back his millions. I understand from the trust statement, the sellers "warranted" the position of the trust to the Americans. Under contract for sale of product, a breach such as this usually gives the right to terminate the contract. There is no value for the Yanks in a collapsing investment, that disappears as we drop into the Championship. Must be getting really hot in the Swansea boardroom. Interesting times, I hope the trust play hard ball, could be squeaky bum time for a few in Swansea........
I could be wrong but not keeping the Trust in the loop, about the sacking Guidolin ,is a first at the club . The Americans not being happy with the trust Phil is just the biggest laugh ...seeing it was Jenkins , the board and the Americans that did all the crapping on the Trust . I believe the new buyers and the old sellers are in a bit of a pickle with this and both will be under scrutiny very soon .
The trust has been meaningless for years, It has NO power, It has NO vote and have NO chance of achieving anything........The Americans should call it a day with the trust and kick them into touch and leave it at that... Everyone knows that once you donate money into the trust that it belongs to the club and you will never see that money again. There are legal binding papers drawn up right at the start of the trust stating this so the trust dont have a leg to stand on.....
The trust will be back in charge in a few years when the Yanks have had enough of their new play thing and we are back in L1 and financially In the **** again
What are you on about ? everyone knew when they paid into theTrust that the money was non refundable , wherever you agree or not the Trust have still a part to play in the Club and more so when the Yanks have made their money and left .It's not so easy to "kick them into touch" as you so eloquently put it , there is a legally abiding agreement in which all parties including jenkins signed ,and something now he wishes he hadn't
They certainly have a leg to stand on being kept from their right to know what was going on so they could weigh their options ( Buying more shares , how they feel about manager dismissals and sackings ). For some smaller shareholders ( than the trust ) and the Americans to hold back information and not be transparent while dealings were happening to diminish their value and up the smaller shareholders value could be a very big bone of contention in the courts . Personally I think the special "Voting rights " will be a big issue also . The trust sits in a better position , morally winning but even in the courts IMO . Lot of hidden things could surface if the trust goes through the legal route ..... The Trust is anything but useless and that's a good thing
As a founder member i know...Today the trust is meaning less unless they get to vote and be involved with everything and that wont happen and our leader knows it and has quit.......You can delete the words Trust shares and replace it with Club shares as that's what it means in reality...and always have.... I quit long ago because the trust is not what i was led to believe it was suppose to be like....
