My programme and ticket along with Mayalls and Taylors autographs, Stan Webb wasn't around at this point, didn't realise it was that long ago.
Good souvenirs. The lad I am on about jammed with Stan Webb way back, late 70s or early 80s. Talking of posters, the Saturday before England won the World Cup I went to see the Who at Brid Spa. A poster for that was sold on e-bay for £1500 a while back. One of the backing groups featured a 17 year old Robert (Alan in those days) Palmer. I was talking a few months back to a lad I know who was also on the support bill as a 14 year old (though he didn't let that be known). Local lads who had just formed a band got great opportunities back then. Not much money but they weren't bothered as they would have paid for the chance to be a support band for the likes of the Who. He must regret not thinking to keep posters of those concerts.
