I got quite nostalgic watching last night - I recalled being at the Dell in 77 or 78 when Saints beat Napoli 1-0 with a screamer from Steve Williams. Strangely that goal keeps getting better year after year.

 

Spent 5 mins trying to imagine Puel tickling Cuco's tummy, failed.
He's not perfect by any means but considering it's common knowledge he was on his way to the lying Dutchman Coco has put in some effort over the last few weeks. We've seen a few sulks from players over the years but he always gives it everything, even if that makes me a little nervous at times.

P*ssed off at the idiot next to me dissing Yoshi the whole match, but nothing could spoil it. I really like the Europa nights. Just think, last night cost me just £1 more than some minor team down the coast are charging to see Wycombe Wanderers on Sat. McQueen impressed me by not whacking the elbowing fool, not only can he play a bit but he has a mature attitude it seems.

I was seriously worried the motorcycle would be dismantled by raging Saints fans at halftime, also wearing my Moto Guzzi Italia T-shirt may not've been the best idea with hindsight.
