Morning all from a lovely autumn day in rural France. Yesterday the temperature in the afternoon was 25°C, just right for doing some clearing of leaves yet again, there will be more, and having a bonfire that has been growing throughout the long dry spell. Public holiday today, and all of the cemeteries will be a blaze of colour as families will remember the deceased by placing pots of flowers on the graves. Many of the older graves have pictures of those buried there, something that seems to be a thing of the past.
Was Yorkie around last night, or was he out on his bike? http://www.bbc.com/news/uk-england-leeds-37830539
Yes, he was there, the bloody lout. Watch again - he can be seen on his roller skates trying to keep up with the others.
Morning all..... off to Ayrshire for oldest daughters Scottish wedding.... back on Saturday and then.... off to Anfield Sunday COYH!
Morning all, a foggy start to the day here, and not much sign of the sun breaking through at the moment. Off to do some bits and bobs, then see if the OFH painting service is required today. Had an afternoon yesterday collecting fallen branches and logging them up in preparation for the colder days.
Morning all, it is an OK sort of day here, some sun, some cloud, a little breeze and a moderate temperature. No painting today as I ran out of paint yesterday, so instead will trundle off and buy another 5 litres of it. A least the shoulder will be happy.
