I sort of agree with this, I was a bit underwhelmed by his aerial threat last night. That said, the Blackpool CBs have got used to marking prem strikers who are massive, they're no mugs and they're better than the ones who'll be marking Dele most weeks. Give him a chance.

You were one of the morons abusing the lino when Fryatt was 10 yards offside then...

Don't you also think that disclosing exactly where you sit is such a great idea? <whistle>

I agree with the overwhelming majority on here - had Fryatt and Simpson taken their glorious chances, we would have won the game and been talking about a great performance and 3 points to start the season with.

On Barmby, I thought at the time that it was a strange one, but he did make a positive impact in the second half. The substitution must have been planned at half time - Adebola was carrying a knock in the 1st half, so NP knew what he wanted to do.

Criticism of Hobbs is completely unfounded, it's the first ****ing game of the season, so stating that Hobbs is '****' when Blackpool had 2 chances in the game proves what a cock you are, Percy.

By the way, I thought Cairney, Rosenior and Brady were very impressive <ok>

I've just wasted five minutes of my life reading this nonsense, if I didn't already know he'd been at Uni, I'd assume Percy was about ten.

    Boothroyd ffs.

Boothroyd, Aidy Boothroyd ? i'd rather have Betty Boothroyd in charge. Now trott on Percy, You Grotty Little Usurper. You dont have a clue.

Any remaining doubt (which there wasn't imo) has now been removed. Go and wum elsewhere.

Having read all of Percy's posts in this thread he seems to be claiming that the poor tactics and defeat in his view came from the Barmby substitution and chance. Nick had that one chance amongst the several other chances we had, if you're wanting to have a pop at Barmby then why not any of the other players who missed chances? Fryatt had an even better chance to score, christ knows what you'd be like if that was Barmby. If Simpson had scored that chance near the end then everyone could ask why wasn't he brought on for Adebola, but since he didn't that argument is pointless. Clearly with an axe to grind with the Pearsons and Bramby everything they do is scrutinised and turned into something negative. For ****s sake if Pearson and Barmby were best mates wouldn't he be captain and starting every game? To even suggest that we should replace Pearson with Boothroyd is laughable, a season in the PL 5 years ago and **** all afterwards counts for nothing. Stop letting your petty dislikes getting in the way of seeing what's good for the club and try and support the people who's job it is to try and get us out of this league.

As I said earlier, I do think Percy was trying to wind us up with his Boothroyd comment.

If you weren't Percy, then **** you. <laugh>

Worryingly Erik i don't think he was winding us up, such is his dislike of Pearson.

    Yes.
    Wrong.
Another brilliant contribution from our esteemed moderator.

    Pearson ffs.

I don't go on the HDM site, but maybe it's possible that more than one person has this opinion? I know that wouldn't sit well in your little "Pearson is God" fantasy world, but consider it.
Well try reading them again then, because that's not what I'm saying at all. It'd have been a different game if Simpson had have gone on instead of Pearson's mate Barmby, Simpson probably would have made that chance, but added to that we'd have probably have more. If you put Barmby on you're essentially just taking a man off, but of course most people on here decided Barmby had had a good game before he'd even got on the pitch.

Yes, you're right, quite a few of our players underperformed on Friday. Poor management?

It's not, it's quite a big deal seen as though Barmby did nothing whilst he was on the pitch.
Everything they do is negative towards the club, take off your rose tinted glasses and your "Pearson is God" t-shirt and just realise that neither Pearson is good enough. AP is pointless and NP is clueless. Then once you've done that, realise it's time for Barmby to retire.
    Obviously not.
The League 1 title and then **** all afterwards counts for even less surely?
Stop letting your unwarranted man love for the Pearson get in the way of seeing what's good for the club! Anyway, feel free to join me in three or four months time when we're still near the bottom of the league in calling for Pearson to be sacked. As I've said before I'm a HULL CITY fan, not a PEARSONS fan, it's time you started supporting the club rather than the Pearsons too.

I realised my argument was weakened without a viable alternative, I now realise it was probably weakened with one, but still, I'd take Boothroyd over Pearson any day of the week.

No I wasn't, Pearson needs to go. You'll realise that soon.

You don't give any sort of reasonable argument why Pearson should go apart from we 'might' be near the bottom of the table in a few months. Like I say if you have a more reasonable expectation of what Hull City and the Championship is about then maybe you would enjoy yourself more at the games. You're entitled to your opinions but if you're not trolling then any reasonable person would ask why so many people disagree with you to the extent of being abusive.
