Ok Sherlock as I called you Rumpole let's start with the law degree. The ****ing and arsehole degrees I don't care about.
That new avatar is a young fergie I knew I'd seen you before Homey are you still cross dressing mate?
LCFC and Spurs are polar opposites, this season. We can't lose in the Prem and you can't win...er... I mean, you can't lose in Europe. Where, I think, we differ is in this respect. No one believes that we are going to get tonked in the Prem, when we do, eventually, lose.
... you mean like at Newcastle last season? ... ... in stark contrast, our 'tonkings' have happened at the hands of 3 teams likely to be contesting the Champions League places - not one that will be relegated... (even if United fall short of that they have, nevertheless, spent close to £200m in the transfer market over the summer) ... ... in contrast we've already shown that we can more than hold our own against teams likely to be contesting Europey places along with ourselves, Spurs and Southampton ... and have put others below that level to the sword with some aplomb
We're trying the win the EPL as well as be competitive in the CL. We've shown exactly how hard that is to achieve. That's the point I'm making, Bambi.
... but you've been slating Arsenal for attempting to do just that ever since I've been visiting the Prem board ... and they've done a tangibly better job of it tbf, even winning 2 FA Cups at the same time ... I think we can both agree that it would only be right and proper for you to now apologise to the Arsenal lads on here for your failure to recognise that before now, given that you now do recognise it yes?
Arsenal have had more resources than us for many, many seasons, and they have squandered them. Spurs have spent a lot of time and effort reaching the same level as Arsenal, and have only recently attained that level. We've now got the task of holding on to it. I'd like to think that if Poch had had the same amount of money that Wenger has had from CL revenues over just the last decade, he'd have done far more with it.
... so i guess what you are really attempting to do by your comments is express your admiration for Claudio Ranieri who, on a budget of next to nothing compared to both Arsenal and Spurs, has managed a team to not only win the English title but to then go on to top a UCL group without conceding a goal after 4 games ... nice to find some common ground at last .... I'm certainly with you there.
I have sung Ranieri's praises before now, Bambi. The trouble with you is that you don't listen often enough before spouting off on your little agenda. Yes, I would certainly agree that Leicester has put every English team to shame, so far, especially Arsenal, who can have absolutely no excuses on the subject, given the times they have played in the CL, yet have never won it. Of course, neither you puffing out your little pigeon chest nor LCFC's blitzkrieg through the group stage is going to count for jack-**** if you get humiliated in the knock-out stage, as Arsenal will amply attest to.
I can't 'hear' your posts HIAG therefore listening would serve no purpose ... but I can read them ... you seem to get easily confused by sensory concepts as well as metaphors and analogies The puffing out of the pigeon chest comment is another example of blatant plagiarism from a post of mine about you earlier in the week ... but hey ho, you've had a tough week and you might genuinely have thought that the phrase had just come into your head...on this occasion, no charge So what would you class as more humiliating? ... not getting out of the group stage, or getting soundly beaten by one of the elite European clubs in the knockout phase? ... I know what I'd prefer ... you can probably guess.
Typical Gooner! Glorifying in failure! "Hey, HIAG! Arsenal have failed miserably in the CL for 17 consecutive years! Woo-hoo! High-5! Let's party, dude!" You are an embarrassment to man and beast!
