Called it, in my Edit Btw I was in Waterstones with my kids and went to the graphic novel section to have a look at TWD comics. Found King Ezekiel and his tiger Also saw there will be another scene with Negan lining our heroes up on the ground with his baseball bat.
Tremors is OK. I watched it again last night as there was jack else on. How many times do they say "Son of a bitch" in the ****er. Give me The Thing any day of the week
Didn't know it was back, the first series was good. UK does a bad job of leaving it too long between series and not having a "last time on *****" The Line Of Duty is terrible for it, they expect you to remeber the last series from 2 years ago!!!
Lol. I just watched the 5th. I see whay your saying but I'm actually really enjoying it. Maybe cause the blonde is fit but I'm inttigued to find out whats going on (probably to be let down)
It's cynical on their part. They know people know the general premise. So they're playing it out on a slow burn to get at least 2-3 series out of this. The trouble with this approach is they'll lose people in the first series. What they should've done is gone straight for the hook and give the viewers what they were expecting (ofcourse with twists like they have with Ed Harris character which is a brilliant way of twisting the Yul Brynner character). After that they could plan a long term saga. But the way they've done it it's becoming a damp squib. And while I'm expecting the inevitable climax to events, I think it will be too little too late. Love the naked women though. What an orgy
I watched the first Westworld and thought it dull but yes there's something interesting. I'm going to catch up once the first season is done and watch the whole lot quite quickly.
So many shows starting back up or in middle of at the moment. Humans, Arrow, Flash, DC Legends of Tomorrow, TWD all started back up again as well as Westworld ongoing. On a slight different note, Dave Gorman Modern Life is Goodish is back next week. Very funny. Replaces TaskMaster which think is brilliant. Very funny,
Was glad they filmed two series at once this year, so we could be greedy at get two instead of one this year. Both have been excellent. Think its possibly the funniest thing on TV at the moment, got the whole family watching it and everyone loves it.
It's massively dependant on the people they get as well. I thought the first series with Frank Skinner, Romesh and others was probably the best. Some very funny people on. Same with 2, Jon Richardson, Kathryn Ryan Joe Wilkinson, all very funny. This one I didn't think was as good, didn't find the Paul guy all that great, seemed to be purposely a bit of an idiot, but still pretty good. Line up for next series looks brilliant though! Hugh Dennis, Mel from Mel & Sue, Noel Fielding (who I love), Joe Lycett (who I think is hilarious) and some randomer Lolly Adefope (who?). They've got 2 more series lined up and extended to 8 episodes each rather than the current 5 Just need to make sure they can keep the tasks fresh and not get stale. Do you watch impractical jokers? Love that show, 4 friends doing idiotic things to each other. Absolutely hilarious. They did a new UK version which was on C5 which I watched, it was such a let down. After watching American one where it's 4 40 yr friends known each other 20 years doing stupid **** to each other, watching 4 guys in their 20's do it in UK just felt cringey as none of them seemed to have a personality and be able to get it across. Reminded me of top gear. It's not the show itself that is funny, it's the dynamic of the people doing the show and you can't just buy that dynamic.
