I see the BBC have started the season with the same disregard to Leicester as they managed in previous years. First they report of dissent and arguing within the ranks during yesterday's game - I saw none and would be very interested to hear from anyone who did. Secondly their disdain for us was yet again evident on the football league show - The team which many pundits have tipped to win the league were shown at 28 minutes and 40 seconds into the program and for a mere 2 minutes - Sick of the anti Leicester bias the BBC indulges in, but I smile as I type, those crap BBC 606 Mods cannot delete this article for telling the truth
Couldn't agree any more danger, BBC start again as they mean to go on, a week where there is no premier action and yet the show doesn't start until just before midnight. Then to make matters worse we get an inaccurate account of the Leicester game discussed by two planks who have never got a good word to say about us.
F*** the Bias Bleeding Corrupted s***. We are LCFC & as long as we do it on the pitch F*** all the gobby jealous B********. Mod that S*** "COOOOOME OOOOON YOOOOOU BLUUUUUES"
Didn't hear where they said there was dissent and arguing amongst the ranks? I did however piss myself laughing at how Cov manager Andy Thorn told how they dominated and controlled the game!!!
It was wrote on BBC / FOOTBALL / CHAMPIONSHIP. I posted a thread asking WTF happend but no one seems to know WTF I´m on about.
The dismissal allowed Coventry to push further up the pitch, while there were signs of dissent within the Foxes ranks and a disjointed air about the visitors' play. _________________________________________________________ Absolute **** of a journo - He can't have been at the match - Either that or he is just plain lying - **** needs sacking
Mind you - If you thought the BBC were **** look at this in the Mirror http://www.mirrorfootball.co.uk/mat...ll-and-Carl-Baker-sent-off-article782315.html
thats horrenous!! "The fans, of course, love him. More than 6,000 of them turned the *Stadium, whose *sponsors’ name *escapes me, into a bearpit." well im not paid, but even i would just put that into google before i published!!
ive stopped watching the football league show, for many of the reasons mentioned above, i wouldn't want to boost their viewing figures in any way shape or form, as its a complete load of b******s. and i bet neither the football league show, or the sh*y mirror, reported the fact, that every single lcfc player came to our end of the ground to applaud us at the end of the match, which by the way was organised by kasper, and i for one thought that was brilliant........
I agree with this bit, it's like they are trying to disrespect the Football League on purpose. It was on even later than it would have been with MOTD before last season. TBH though I don't really have many complaints about our coverage in last nights particular show though - they ojnly had the new boys to the division and the new managers before us, which I suppose is fair enough. I'm sure if we are in the top 2 we will be shown either first or second in the future. I thought the highlights were fair as well, though they could have shown Nugent's miss just before the goal if I was being picky. There were also no emails last night which was an improvement! It is a badly done show, but I thought last night wasn't too bad.
I actually thought the Football League Show was interesting - Manish Bhasin seemed to deliberately put Claridge on the spot regarding Leicester - he didn't seem to like it and felt forced to conceive that we looked like a team rather than a collection of individuals. Regarding the running order - guys come on, they dealt with the new boys first - as I would have done if I was directing the show - then I think the rest were in alphabetical order, starting with Barnsley. I really think it's a bit paranoia to say we were being overlooked. Soon, when we're top of the league week-in, week-out, we'll always be first! As for that Mirror article, it's a poorly researched opinion piece by someone who clearly is unsettled by another club rising into the nation's consciousness. He doesn't know the history of the Poznan, ie it was a moment shared between us and Man City last year, as for calling our fans arrogant because we've come into money - does he not realise it was a local derby? We've mocked Cov's lack of fans for years - it's not a new thing! He implied we are no longer a nice friendly club 1. he should come to the KP 2. We've never been nice to Cov! More unjustified Sven bashing and even an unnecessary pop at Konchesky show we're dealing with a gutter press reporter of the lowest order. Finally, I have to hold my hands up and say to that West Ham who come on these boards a couple of weeks ago and claimed they we're going to walk the league - you're right. We give up now.
Exactly what I thought. Getting him to admit this was great, but a bit like getting blood out of a stone!
Manish is meant to be a Leicester fan and is scared of talking about us half the time. Claridge for some reason wants to see us fail.
thats horrenous!! "The fans, of course, love him. More than 6,000 of them turned the *Stadium, whose *sponsorsâ name *escapes me, into a bearpit." well im not paid, but even i would just put that into google before i published!! ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------- I think the journo was trying to suggest that all these modern, corporate sponsored stadiums are rather similar and boring, and almost impossible to distinguish from one another, not that he is mentally incapable of looking up the Ricoh. Actually, it was the one decent and remotely incisive point that he made in the whole article! As for the FLS, I'm sorry but our match just wasn't that interesting. Sure, it was exciting as hell for us, but fans of other clubs/neutrals who tune into the show are hardly going to be enthralled by what was, frankly, a bit of a bore-fest in which the only events of real note were two stonewall red cards and an unspectacular headed goal from a set piece. From a neutral's point of view it was a very average match and the beeb rightly went with the more action-packed games for their extended highlights. I agree that Claridge is a muppet though - he's just after the attention.
I didn't think TFLS was too bad on Saturday actually. The show has improved now that Dizzy Lizzie's texts and Manish's impression of a weather man have gone, more about football now and less childish 'my club is going up woooo!' antics. Having said that there is still too much talking and too much of the pleb who p*ssed off Sven last year. But an improvement nonetheless. As for their LCFC coverage; it will improve as the season goes on. Last year we were barely covered for the first half of the season but then featured as the main match several times after Christmas. My guess is if we're top after 10 games, 1 in every 3 main matches will be Leicester. As for Claridge, he seemed to backtrack a bit on what he'd said previously, merely stating that 'players have to be played in the right position' (well done Einstein) (and who exactly was played out of position last year?). And his 'as a former Leicester player....' comment was interesting given all his BS about us. But on Final Score, he again meandered the point about Mills and the 'ott' price tag. He clearly doesn't like what we're doing, but so what. Like Burmese says, his hero status has gone well down now.
