You cannot imagine how difficult it is to watch this match on mute while on a phone call to a colleague, without shouting profanities every 2 mins for about an hour.
The pundits are saying that this is a one-off and a rare poor performance. I don't think that's true. We've looked well off since the international break.
For those of you who play football, You know when you're lashing balls at the goal before a game, and every **** shot is met with 'get the bad ones out the way' , well I seriously hope that this is the case before the Derby. If we play like this on Sunday it will be embarrassing
the line up was all wrong from the start, and although we've seen an awful performance tonight, poch's decision to start who he did mustnt be over looked. It didn't work last time, and Son has rarely ever worked as a striker. We were on the back foot from the start because we weren't set up to deal with the exact same formation they played last time, which you'd have thought we'd learned from. Subsequently, our confidence was shot to pieces as we were under pressure, and we saw a needless/wasted sub made after 30 mins, which shouldn't have been the case. It was glaringly obvious that we needed Janssen up top after the reverse fixture. Really really poor decisions tonight have been a major factor IMO, which have ultimately led to many of the problems in tonight's performance, when we should have taken the game to Leverkusen. This is extremely worrying at the moment. First of all we couldn't score and our attackers look more like Sunday league players, and now defensively we look all over the place too.
