It was just a group game and as much as it's always good to get points on the board and progress it wasn't a knockout game or anything.

I would say that City are heading in the right direction under Pep and they played very well but I simply don't understand the reaction from the media. From fans I would understand it, beating Barca is a great win and I would expect some bragging rights and OTT celebrations.

Everything is black and white with the sports media. You're either a winner or a loser, on the way up or on the way down, never where you should be at any point in time. Plus, the media likes to set people up to fail.

Fair play to City though. They wanted it more, ran further, tackled harder, and counter attacked brilliantly.

 

Agree with Luvgonzo, the Barca front 3 are overrated. No biggee beating them these days. Look at us spank City last week who then beat Barca. Imagine the destruction we would've caused Barca. They got off lightly tbh.

The City game was an inconvenience to them as they're group winners.
